Hi... I'm Mary, and I am mainly here to read and write stories. I'm in my thirty's and I'm a builder/maker type girl. I live in California in a cute little house with my husband and our girlfriend Boots, we also have an awesome cat named Badcat. (I feel I should mention them because they're all in my stories) Boots said it was alright to use her name but my husband didn't want to be known... He's still cool though, I promise :-)
I'm super new to writing but its quickly becoming one of my new most favorite things, so please forgive me for the occasional run on sentence or misplaced punctuation in my stories, I'm still learning and the road to self education is a long and twisted one indeed.
People keep asking this so, yes this is a real picture of me, and that's really a picture of Boots and my husband, it was taken by a friend when we ran out of gas on the way to a show. No faces in the pix means our anonymity remains intact... Yay!
Interests Hmm... well I like to build things, I just restored a little sailboat and I love it so much It's so awesome! It has a little kitchen and couch and a bedroom. That's actually where I do most of my writing, so if you want to talk boats I'm all ears.
I am an omnivore, my car is a bike, and I'm really into the tiny house movement.
Boots is teaching me how to play classical guitar and I play a little bit of accordion when I am feeling french.
Sometimes I find time to play some video games but I really only like Nintendo stuff, I just hacked my Wii and it's the best thing ever.... Arrrrr the pirate life for me :-)
