I'm a big, bearded , country boy (even if I am 62) now living in the big city. I'm a retired industrial electrician, project manager, Estimator, and business owner. Over the years I've lived and worked from Iowa to Louisiana, South Texas to Nebraska wiring everything from hospital, paper mills, refineries, soy bean oil extraction plants, schools and colleges. It was fun and I hate being retired but it's much genteler on my worn out knees, ah well, when you get old...

Interests
I hunted, fished, bought, sold, and traded guns, ranched 260 head of cattle, farmed and even owned 200 duroc /tamworth sows at one time on a 570 acre ranch. I have always been extremely active out doors but now I still collect guns but mostly only do at the gun range.

Favorite Books
I love to read and can usually be found with a book close by if I'm not actually reading. I enjoy writing but I have to be the worlds slowest typest ( I should have paid attention in typing class but there were a lot of girls in class that were more fun to pay attention to).
If I must choose a favorite book it would probably be Centennial, by James Mitchner, but I have so many books I love to reread every so often...

All of John Wayne's movies, especially the "Shootist", most westerns, and most of Humphrey Bogarts' movies as well as E.G. Robinson's, George Raft's, James Cagney's , Jimmy Stewart's and a lot of the movies of the 50's and 60's.

Favorite Music
Classical piano, 60's rock, blues, R&B, 70's soul, and all southern Rock as well as country from the Carter Family to the Zack Brown Band, from Patsy Montanna to Marinda Lambert.
