I am a mature woman (39) who has discovered the joys of being with other women. I am a professional woman who for the sake of my career has not yet had the courage to step out of the closet. I was married once and have a wonderful daughter who is now going to university. As my life evolves, I plan to become more open about who I am but for now I must take little steps toward the closet's door.

Interests
I have many interests including, but not limited to, gardening, playing sports mainly softball which I used to coach and basketball which I both played and coached. I was an accredited basketball referee for a number of years but I no longer am. I enjoy reading and travelling. Riding horses is great and I love to ride just to get away from the pressures of life. Camping is another good stress reliever.

Favorite Books
Not sure really, there are so many that I like. I really enjoy the "action" types but also historical novels. I was turned off reading for pleasure when I took a uni English course and everything, according to the prof, was symbolic. Historical fiction is probably my fav.

Favorite Authors
Some may consider my tastes in authors masculine but I don't care. I enjoy books by Tom Clancy, Frederick Forsyth, Cliver Cussler and others of the action genre.

Favorite Movies
Dr. Zhivago--love the romantic tale but also the historical background. I am not really into chick flicks.

Favorite Music
Wide ranging types but I guess that easy listening/big band/jazz would be my fav.
