About MovingOn14

Moving on in 2014 to the next chapter of life. Single for the first time in many, many years, free to explore all that life has to offer. A professional, active in the community, and an always aspiring writer. Hopefully my stories share some humor and wit, a twist here and there, and entertain the reader to the point of turning to the next page.

Relationship Status:
As with any male, and many females too, I appreciate a glimpse of the lace top of a thigh high stocking.

I am a sports junkie who enjoys classic rock and modern country, cocktails on the deck, tequila shots almost anywhere, and spending time with family and friends.

My reading interests include erotica, especially with well developed characters and plot. Also add those novels of clandestine international espionage, those novels of colonial times and U.S. history, and biographies. An odd combination of interests I know.
Favorite Authors:
John Jakes, Joseph J. Ellis, Dan Brown, Clancy, Ludlum, Baldacci, Martin Luther
Favorite Movies:
It Could Happen To You, On Golden Pond, The Avengers, Body Heat, Henry and June, Disclosure, Remember the Titans (anything Denzel Washington actually), The Jungle Book, Apollo 13 (most anything with Tom Hanks),
Favourite TV Shows:
Castle, Shark Tank, and the early rounds of The Voice....that's it.
Favorite Music:
Stage theater .... Phantom of the Opera, Jersey Boys.
Classic Rock.
Bruno Mars, Muse, and My Chemical Romance always catch my ear.
Modern Country has grown on me the last five years.
Surprised two of my fav hits are from Katy Perry, Thinking of You, and The One That Got Away.

Years ago you caught my eye, A soul so gentle and kind, I oft recall your first words to me, A snapshot in my mind. Playing and laughing, time stood still, Our spirits allowed destiny to consume, We felt that bond that tied us both, A snapshot of two lives in bloom. Our first kiss, indeed electric and full of need, I recall my hands roaming through locks of hair, That first day, my...

That Moment

That moment. It was the playful sparkle in your eye. No, it was the way your soft black hair covered your shoulders. No, no, it was the alluring smile of your bright red lips. No, no, no, it was how you embraced life through your heart. Not one of those, all of those, all your beauty. Your beauty. I knew at that moment I called your name. I knew at that moment, when you...

Journey with You

Out there, somewhere, our destiny did wait, For me, for you, 'twas our inevitable fate, Disguised in the veils of a distant light We searched, and hoped, two hearts burning bright. For over that time, and within that space, A crossroads was reached, was our time to embrace. In search of that star, its rays be our guide, Taking us here, then there, over sands rising tide. ...

Fishnet Stockings and High Heels

With a relaxing sigh,  I assumed my seat,  Like an outbound tide, My tension’s retreat. The waitress suggests,  With an intoxicating grin,  That I enjoy the house special, A cool tonic and gin. Surveying the bar crowd,  My eyes they did wander, They followed her far stare, I wondered, what did she ponder? Twenty feet, perhaps more,  Nevertheless she sat near,  Her eyes...

There was a time, not so long ago, A glance of an eye, A phrase turned, A nod of the head, Created a squirm, A shifting in the seat, A current in my loins. And yet today, yes today, The glance is benign, The phrase is muted, The head stands still. Who turned off, that electric charge, between you and I....

The Game's Ultimate Prize - Chapter 5

Chapter 5 - Bilingual Ashley had been worried when walking into the Luxies Club tonight. When eyeing the crowd in the bar, she could not find a man that fit her profile. On her previous trips to Luxies there were plenty of men that were her age or older than her with strong physiques and totally take charge attitudes. Tonight’s candidates had mostly been younger. She was relieved,...

The Game's Ultimate Prize - Chapter 4

Chapter 4 – First Date I turned onto the exit for the interstate toll way that I needed to take to get home. I estimated the drive from here to take about an hour. I slammed the steering wheel hard three times with the palm of my hand. “Fuck! Fuck! Fuck!” This totally sucked. I can’t believe that I am driving home, allowing my wife to stay behind and fuck some unknown man. What kind of...

The Game's Ultimate Prize - Chapter 3

Communication is the key. I have heard that from so many people. Grandparents, parents, siblings, clergy, and friends. Communication is the key to a successful marriage. It must be true because so many people say it is true. When we started playing our games, the communication between Ashley and I vastly improved. We began to share more intimate thoughts, desires, and behaviors that we liked...

The Game's Ultimate Prize - Chapter 2

Chapter 2: Excitement and Tragedy At that moment, I was almost as shocked as Angela and Chad. This was the farthest that the vixen, my wife Ashley, had ever pushed our game. Not only was it the farthest, but it was by far the most public. My stomach was tied in a knot. My mind was a swirl of conflicting thoughts of embarrassment and offense, mixed with a tingling surge of adrenaline. I...

Recommended Read The Game's Ultimate Prize

Chapter One - One Night at The Luxies Club "Manhattan. On the rocks, please." I didn't recognize the bartender, and that was probably just as well this evening. I had not been to The Luxies Club for a few months. While it was occasionally visited by a small college crowd that enjoyed a more sophisticated evening out, the normal crowd at Luxies was an adult gathering of couples and...
