You are a kiss and a whisper away,
Floating in the the streetlight's ethereal orange
That soaks the walls whilst
Tree shadows dance and skitter
In autumnal gusting winds
In striking silhouette across my room,
Smoking away from the glowing wick
Of the not quite unquenched candle
Before it bursts back into flame and
Toasts the dusty air to charcoal sooty smells
That waken memories of older times than these.

Hanging in the atmosphere,
Unreachable, untouchable,
You pall the starry skies with my longing
And far from cloaking my nakedness beneath their celestial gaze,
You summon forth
Wet, burning need that honeys the air
With unbridled lust and unmet needs
To be brushed by your lips
And licked with your tongue
And tasted deep
And taken deeper
Than ever I was before and could be
By any other who ever laid claim to
This sorry, sodden heart of mine.

Forgetting and forgotten
Lie these heavy tresses of passion-lust ribbons
That twine my skin to the earth and
Away from the glittering skies that
Will not let me rise to meet the
Breath of your kindness
In my own mouth and body that
Opens to let you in
To be consumed for spectral moments
Deep within this hot, sticky undulating cunt
That grasps for all you would give me
For love and lust and pure hunger
That meets my hunger
That meets your needs and
Loves me back.

Just a whisper and a kiss away,
I can almost feel your skin's heat burning against mine
As I lie naked in the dark
Under the smoke of the candle
We once lit together with our smiles.
