I saw you from across the room
Gliding amongst others, a vision of beauty to behold
My heart jumping an extra beat
I tried to reach out and touch you

That ice cold exterior, sending shivers down my fingertips
That unnatural feeling of emptiness that draws deeper inside of my body
Your hands caressing another, as you turn to glance upon my stale soul
Those lips that curl upon one edge
Offering a wickedness of smile
All you're missing is that long, red tail to sweep behind

From within, I can feel my heart slowing
Freezing over and becoming a block of ice
Cracks beginning to fold across the sheet of cold interior
My last image is of your face, those eyes
Shattering my heart into pieces

Fragments of what once was, and may never be again
For you have taken that most precious part of me that I offered
A beating heart within, now broken from just your look
Leaving an empty vessel to roam these lands, alone
A soulless body that wanders

Crushed at your fingertips, stomped down to submission
Your eyes are all I ever see now, every single night
This pain I feel every day, every minute of every hour
Is unbearable to live by

Yet I continue to hope... walk amongst the living
'Till the day my mind forgets all that was
A senile old man, left alone without touch of another
Lost not only in the world, but of sound mind forever more

You broke me, as I hear your wicked laughter as I close my eyes for the final time
And awaken to find myself within your fiery tomb beneath our land
Where my beating heart was captured and placed a long time ago
Fallen to my knees beneath your throne you reside upon

Looking down upon me, with those sizzling eyes that hurt me so
Now just turning into another of those victims left in your wake
Nothing more but left standing, a lonely stone statue
And a frozen tear that will never fall from upon my cheek...
