Looking back now I should have seen it; the tunnel vision blinded me.

One thought running through my mind; real life.

One girl that took me by complete surprise without a warning.

A warning of the spell that she would put me under.

One look was all that it would take for her to change me forever.

Her world was fast and free but full of temptation.

Temptation that reached out and dared me to try, just once.

Like all new things once was never enough.

Her world excited me and scared me at the same time.

I knew full well any world with her in it was where I wanted to be.

She was all I wanted.

All I dreamed of.

All I thought about.

Day in and day out.

She consumed me to the point of self-destruction.

But still, I wanted more.

Summer turned to fall just as she turned from friend to something more.

Something I was scared to ask Webster a definition for.

Did a label define us? 

Would a label change the way I felt about you?

It didn't matter. I knew what she meant to me.

But did I mean that to her?

Unwelcomed demons slipped the ugly truth.

She was never just with me. 

She was with him too.

Polyamory was a definition Webster taught me way too fast.

I thought sharing was only necessary in kindergarten class.
