Honeysuckle kisses beneath
Drooping scented lilacs
Red admirals, autumn-tinged, sip
Then away, on gossamer wings
Fluttering like her heart
Beneath the breast I nuzzle
As she endows me
With precious kisses
On every inch of skin
Sparking nerve ends
Into life, urging me,
As bees savour poppies,
She spreads to reveal
Pink, the colour of summer rose wine
As I blessedly taste her nectar
All cream and sensual musk
Add sweet delicacy to fervent power
And our love lifts us
Beyond the swansdown clouds
At honeysuckle dusk
