Afternoon Delight

Contributing Authors: MadameMolly
Words cannot describe it, but this is close.
You are my afternoon delight,
Mine to enjoy until daylight.
You set my world ablaze,
And I lost myself in the smoky haze.

Your fingers glide along my skin,
Perhaps loving you is a sin.
I will endure my fate,
I cannot turn back, it is too late.

If I go to hell,
I will dance until I hear your silver bell.
Ringing loud and clear from your lofty perch,
You have been the end of my search.

The object of my lonely quest,
Only for you do I want the best.
The rest shall fade,
All into shadows and shade.

The world may crumble and burn,
But for me it is no concern.
With you at my side,
I can quell even the rising tide.

With your lips on mine,
We will both shine.
With your hands in my hair,
We will let them all stare.

And if they dare to challenge us,
They will be met with a cuss.
You are my lady in the streets,
And my angel in the sheets.

Darlin', we are both a mess,
But together we are more, not less.
Come in my arms, do not fight,
I am your afternoon delight.
