As The Moon Rose

As The Moon Rose

Who was watching as the moon rose,

Who still gathers bowls of primrose.

Just the one whose soul is dreaming

That her joys shall keep on streaming,

Will be raining down upon her,

If she only lives with honor.

She accepts the world of beauty

Comes to those who follow duty.

Oaths are made to those we cherish

Knowing faith will never perish

While the stars continue glowing,

As the mists of time are growing.

And around his faithful lover

Metaphoric bliss will hover.

Plucking blossoms, catching shadows,

Happiness is chasing rainbows.

You're his darling, never waver,

Taste the wine, enjoy the flavor

Of a love that lasts forever.

Do not think about a never

In your dreams of future living,

With your dearest one still giving

Adoration, all his heart knows,

He will sing until the dawn shows.

Take his offering with pleasure,

You are still his purest treasure.

As you always were, so trust him,

You must know his love will not dim.

Some may paint him as obsessing,

But you know that you're his blessing.

Watch the moonrise, catch the passion,

Love like yours will stay in fashion.
