Castle in the clouds

“Everything you can imagine is real.” - Pablo Picasso
At her castle in the clouds

She hides when life gets hard.

There no sadness exists

And he awaits her, always,

His arms open to hold her close.

When chilled to the bone

Curled on his lap her warmth returns.

Mad, passionate love they make,

Consumed by each other’s bodies,

Desire and lust driving them

Into endless moments of ecstasy.

Like a skilled musician

He plays her body with perfection,

Knowing its every secret.

In return he is her canvas,

To paint with touch and kisses.

For a while, all worries melt away,

Batteries get recharged.

When reality catches up

And she has to leave

She has new energy to cope,

If it gets too difficult

She can always return

To her very own castle in the clouds.
