Dream Lover

She comes in the darkest night,
A lady dressed in pearly white,
She captures your heart with much delight,
Only to leave you wanting.

She leave before the daylight peeks,
A tender kiss upon your cheek,
You feel that you could almost weep,
Your mind she is always haunting.

You long for loss of sunlight’s rays
Knowing that once it does fade
She will return into the glade
Of your hearts desire.

Never does she say her name
Never does she ever remain
Only the night is her domain
This woman who is your fire.

The time will come when you will forget,
When her memory stops causing fret
She will be gone and you shall let
Her leave upon a whisper.

Always shall she hide in your mind
You shall think of her from time to time
A slightest thought of her shall shine
The lost moments with your dream lover.
