Deceit disguised as honest love

Can be the bow to break

A once sound bond sealed above

And cause ones heart to ache.

To claim a woman’s heart is grand

Enough to love multi men

Is fantasy, a house built on sand

And it will come crashing down it’s just a matter of when.

The other man’s words behind the back

In private carves out its piece of heart

Slowly destroys and hack by hack

Will chop two lovers apart.

Piece by piece the house comes down

Despite the warning signs

For the signs are shielded by selfish claims

That all is well ‘til one resigns

Even though one may claim to be

Of heritage known to be wild and free

It does not excuse one of his crime

Of deceitful cowardice time after time.

They claim to be of gypsy heart

As they hide in darkness claiming privacy

Sharing thoughts and words behind the back

Of the fool who stays in blind loyalty.

When you claim to love another dearly

And a third one disses your lover severely

And you continue to share with this traitor third

Words of love in private unheard

Then you must remember and always know

That you will always reap what you sow

So be prepared to lose your crown

For your house without fail will come crashing down

The universe’s laws of love

Are not controlled or changed by man

As if by heritage different laws apply

so the stupid man lives his lie.

But alas the fool who writes this rhyme

And the victim of the coward’s crime

Will continue to serve obediently

Out of misplaced love and loyalty

On his knees he awaits commands

To shhh his mouth or pay the price

Reminded he has no right to make demands

he quietly allows them to role the dice.

And so it goes when secrets hide

Betray the trust and shake the core

Destroying what was once inside

And losing slowly more and more.
