Many thoughts stir my heart
As I ponder alone.
Many places attract me 
With charms of their own 
But my thought of all thoughts 
When her smile does afford 
This place of all places 
She strikes such a chord 

It’s the end of my pain 
When she smiles at my face
It’s the word of her heart 
To my prodigal space
It’s the greatest and grandest gift 
She could impart
Surpassing my reason 
And winning my heart
