I Will Carry You

Do you doubt me yet again?
Your preciousness
Is all that I see,
Such a giving heart
That pours out so willingly.
Yet the question begs,
Who will carry you?

I’ve seen the way
Your love flows out,
All who are in your care
Have not one doubt.
But the question remains,
Who will carry you?

You see their needs
And they become your own.
The demands never ending
When at you they’re thrown.
But I must ask you now,
Who will carry you?

I don’t believe it’s His plan
That you'd be alone,
To withstand all the weight
That your history has shown.
So I ask yet again,
Who will carry you?

I think it’s alright
When questions enter your mind,
To wrestle aloud
And wonder where's His design.
Search the depths of your heart and answer,
Who will carry you?

I am here now
To do whatever you need.
I’ll go far away if you like
And I’ll do it with speed.
But first I beg to pose the question,
Who will carry you?

You know what you need,
You know what is true.
You need to be loved,
You need to be wooed.
You need someone to depend on,
So who will carry you?

When life is a battle,
When days are like war,
You can’t go it alone
And just wish you had more.
I commit to you now,
I will carry you.

You have not His design,
And he never will be.
Man’s called to love and protect
And to set the woman free.
I’m that man my sweet lady
Yes love, I will carry you.

So smile now for me
And take a deep breath.
There is change in the winds
We’ll put this pain right to death.
And alas my sweet love,
I will be yours
For always
And my Stac, have no fear...
I will carry you!
