Love on the phone

Love on the phone

What dream did she appear from?
This Sidhe like elven sprite.
She bewitches me by daytime,
And each and every night.

Her humbleness deceiving.
She wields almighty powers.
Words no longer necessary.
I could gaze for hours and hours.

She gives me just enough
To keep me hard, servile.
And when I start to waver,
She gifts that special smile.

She gives the strength of Heracles.
Then breaks me like a glass.
How could this start to happen?
How did this come to pass?

There were hundreds there before her.
So what sets her apart?
How do I feel emotions,
Ripping from my heart.

No person has elicited
The power of my soul.
Until she first appeared to me.
Until she made me whole.

But the true madness of this love affair?
I know she has another.
A man unknown she has not met
A social media lover.

She tells me he possesses her.
So why do I fight on?
If this love is so fruitless?
I really should be gone.

But how can I fight my feelings?
This is like nothing ever known.
She bewitches and enchants me.
This seed seems surely sown.

I have to stay here waiting,
though my soul in limbo waits.
For though we aren't together,
I know we share our fates.

These brief and rare snatched moments,
When she allows me deep inside,
When she makes love like a demon,
Where her body cannot hide.

They are all now that I live for,
Brief hours in the week.
When she feels vulnerable and wanting,
And a true lover she does seek.

But my love is pure untainted,
So his presence kills me slow.
He treats her oh so badly,
But her heart to him does go.

I know that I could give her
A love that's pure, that's real.
But what the hell do I do now,
When this is how I feel?

Do I sit here and wait for her
Through the lonely lonely night?
Or do I start to face the facts
And make a final flight?

If she only would accept this.
If her heart would only see.
That real love is not electronic.
That real love is from me.
