Drifting back and forth

With no real direction

Or clear path in mind

Searching for something

But what was missing

I couldn’t figure it out

Then you came into my life

And the fog began to clear.

You make me smile and laugh

and make me feel special

We share stories

As you teach and guide me

Giving me back my faith and hope.

And when you take me in your arms

 pulling me close as you hold me tight

you whisper sweet words of love

And never have I felt so safe.
