My Dear

Tags: love
The air crackles with unknown excitment
as the faces lie to their minds.
Trees sway as the wind blows,
Howling endlessly into the ears
Of the people standing near.

Today is the day I confirm
My undying love for you my dear.
The water ripples as the tears
of the saddened start to fall
from the darkened sky.

I walk into the room as the sky opens
And pours her tears onto the earth.
Leaves falling onto the roof.
Sounding as though tiny feet are
dancing above.

Tell me, my love that you do.
The doors open and sun streams in.
My eyes sparkle into yours, our skin
Touching and becoming one.

The leaves crunch under my feet,
Love me forever.
Walking together under the tears of the sky;
We find solace in each other’s arms.

My dear, I love you so.

How our love once was, years
pass as we kiss and dance.
Closing my eyes I can hear you now;

My dear I love you so.

I cannot look away as you glide away,
rain pelting my face, hiding the fear.
Into the never ending sadness;
Turning my face toward the sky,

Now understanding her,
I weep as she does.

My dear
I love you so.
