Safe, Loved, Desired

I want to be in your arms,
There I feel wanted and looked for.
I feel safe from harm,
Needed, warm to the core.

You hold together the pieces of me,
The bits left shattered by pain.
The desire you ignite within
Pours over us like wild rain.

I want to be who you need,
Maybe I can repay you.
Call it a hunger, or greed,
Either might be true.

Take me, claim me as your own,
I offer no resistance, I want this so bad.
I don't want to again be left alone,
I don't want to be a passing fad.

Whisper into my ear,
Tell me I belong.
Assuage my deepest fear,
Tell me that our desire isn't wrong.

Curl your fingers into my hair
As you push yourself in
And know I need you there,
Kiss me, waiting for that wears patience thin.

I am yours, this is so right,
You groan my name and succumb.
I feel healed tonight,
No longer numb.

Touch me, kiss me,
Caress me, fuck me, let it start.
I promise my devotion is free;
Let's share our bodies, minds, hearts.
