She Has A Voice

Tags: love poem,
There is no greater sound on earth…
Sunlight seeps in through the gap of the curtains
Pouring forth its light into the darkened room
The beauty sits upon my bed
The stunning one revealed to me once again

It's not a smile painted upon her lips
It's more a look, a look of desire, of need
No, not to be taken or to be ravished
But to be held, to simply be loved

My arms take her, wrapping around her gorgeous frame
Pulling her close to me, holding her from head to toe
A steady hand pets her entire length
Ensuring her once again that all is well

She has needed this, just this
Needed to be reassured that she is beautiful
Needed the assurance that she is worthy
That because of who she is, not what she does, she is loved

It is in this moment that I’ve determined to give
There is nothing that I want, nothing that I need
I just want to give
To know the simple joy of pleasing her

The exploration is frenzied
Fingers finding moist flesh
Sinking into the depths of her being
My hand caressing her neck, lips passionately covering hers

It is Joy enraptured
This merging of our wills
Oh yes, she has a voice
How I love to make her sing!
