Tear drops are like snowflakes

Each one has a different meaning
A different place from which it came.

Some tears celebrate new joys
Others the pain of a sad ending,
Tears can come from pure delight
Or come from your heart mending.

Each falling tear drop is unique
Slowly falling without a sound,
But silently telling it's own story
Inside it, pure emotion is found.

Tonight I feel a tear drop form
Down my cheek it leaves a trail,
I try to hide the tiny tear drop
But at hiding emotions I fail.

Please tell me quiet tear drop,
What brings your visit tonight?
I cry because I refuse to give up,
I cry when I am afraid to fight.

Never hold back your tears
They are the language of your heart,
Each one releases an emotion
Tonight pain is why my tears start.

As the tear drops fall so softly
My defenses come crashing down,
My heart is so happy in love

Trying so hard to see the light
But struggling through the tears,
