The Girl on the Internet

An unobtainable love.
The girl on the internet,
looking out at me.
With those eyes so deep,
who do you see?

That heartbreaking smile,
a face so exquisite, chestnut hair.
The gentle slope of her breasts,
beauty like this is rare.

Love's sweet invitation,
her legs open wide.
For a taste of that heaven,
I would make her my bride.

My seed is spent,
was this part of the plan?
Am I supposed to feel,
so much less of a man?

Is that sadness in her smile,
a hint of pity in her eye?
A love I will never possess,
a reminder, until I die.

My angel trapped forever,
that long ago thrill.
The girl on the internet,
haunting me still
