The Long Journey Home

Tags: love, bdsm, pain
A journey of miles, uncertainty my sole companion
In reflection of recent times, a false smile I fashion.

On my way through, rough roads were travelled
Often I was abandoned and branded collateral.

A fork in my path, had left me confused
Misguided and a failure, to myself I accused.

Stranger's eyes, from all angles attacked me
I the center of, their personal storm blasphemy.

False hope rained down and flooded my senses
Wash clean the guilt, to reveal new chances.

Searching for happiness, I turned to the west
Thoughts drift to the one who treated me best.

From my eyes, untie the sheath and shed
Reveal the great possibilities that all lie ahead.

On our first meeting, Destiny did bless
The deity forgave and took me to her chest.

Friendship blossomed with respect magnified
Karma too, another goddess satisfied.

He is a Master, in it's truest form
Heart on a sleeve, tattered and worn.

Failed pairings, a past we both share
Poor choices, were only my cross to bare.

Behind azure windows, a glimpse of a winged devil
Crooked halo perched on hair disheveled.

Powerful gaze and stature tall
Mighty attributes, I envy all.

A beauty to put all others to shame
His, a love, to strive for and claim.

Our melding worlds, perfect every time,
Precious memories held and forever mine.

Mistakes were admitted and confided
A judgement to forgive, he carefully decided.

His a pure heart, lacking in dishonorable deeds
With faith and no doubt, I follow his lead.

My wings retracted, when in his embrace
The unjust no longer, who I care to chase.

I journey home, to his awaiting arms
The one true man, to protect me from harm.

Know that the complete gift is yet awarded
And our journey together is one just started.

Time and patience, a pairing required
In harmony they dance, to build a epic and lasting fire.

When my kiss makes him feel like he is backed by an army
When his support surrounds me, my fears I conquer calmly.

When my words elevate his soul, his burden sent heavenly
When his undying devotion, the prayer I have nightly.

When my heart protected, a fact and no longer fantasy
When his love is offered up, and I accept not cautiously.

When one night apart, feels like one too many
When our thoughts are shared, and none too uncanny.

He the owner of two souls, two minds and two hearts weaved
Only then we will be one, and complete submission achieved.
