When the Pedestal Descends

Tags: bdsm, poem, false, fake
Be wary of the Dom who sits atop a counterfeit throne
My Darling Subs, know you are not alone
We all fall victim to false idols or one on a counterfeit throne

They profess to be pious, warning what you reap you will sow
Yet Decalogue be ignored, when for them, it is convenient to do so

Be wary of the Dom, who has no power to wield
Be sure in the background, is another, to whom he must truly yield

Channel your intuition and mighty powers of perception
Look past their facade and expose, any and all deception

As his pedestal descends, be sure to look him in the eye
Now at the same level, be strong and don’t let him see you cry

Your worth is more precious, than his words could ever pretend
Heal from the pain, move forward, and soon you will ascend

Find the Dom, who in beauty, can revel inside and out
Be the sub, who in servitude, is steadfast and devout

Be the Dom, with your sub’s heart, you effortlessly shield
Find the sub, who grants access, to her Elysian field

For a true Dominant male, respect is not a dubious right
Earned in daily actions and deeds, his ownership worth the fight

If Darling Subling, a true Dom already is your other half
Rejoice for his character is authentic, and he’s no golden calf

Express thanks, that in each others lives, you continue to stay
Be grateful to the chance, for the bond to grow another day
