Topic who honestly likes to give blow jobs
Posted 29 Dec 2014 23:17

If you're talking about the actual physical sensations that go along with giving a blowjob... no, I don't like it all that much. I don't really get anything out of it, but I'm turned on all to hell when he's turned on, so it sort of works out for both of us when I give them.

Yeah, I know it was an 'Ask the Gals' question, but I give blowjobs too sometimes! cussing

Topic Would you date a transgendered woman?
Posted 28 Dec 2014 14:55

I recently saw one of my favourite sci-fi actresses, Tatiana Maslany, portray a pre-op transgendered man. I know that Tatiana isn't actually a trans man, but what the hell else can I say? This boy was hawwwwt.

The pool of men and women that I'm willing to put myself out there and date has always been kinda small, but there's no real reason for me to be against the idea of dating someone who is transgendered. Just be aware that if you have a vagina... you might need to give me some directions on what to do with it. I make no promises in that department.

Topic why do men always want to stick their cock in someone's ass?
Posted 28 Dec 2014 14:42

Anal is just like any other kind of non-vanilla sex. It's got some heavy fetish appeal... it's an act requiring a certain amount of intimacy and trust to do it properly... it's something that you can never do for yourself, which makes it pretty special to have now and then.

Anal also has the unhappy position of being that one non-vanilla thing that's almost commonly considered to be normal. If you really stop to think about it, it's kinda fucking bizzare. Yet, you can ask for it as often as you want without feeling like a creep or a weirdo. Can you imagine how it would be if fisting was the thing? Or electro-play?

Topic Who else likes to be naked when home alone?

My answer is yes... most of the time.

I'm also Canadian, so naked-at-home is not always the most comfortable option. I like being warm a lot better.

Topic Her orgasm or yours?
Posted 23 Dec 2014 21:48

The question of 'who cums first' really depends on who's taken the lead, doesn't it?

If I'm in charge, it's a policy of mine to try to ensure that her orgasm comes first. If she's in charge... well, it's still her pleasure, even if it's not necessarily her orgasm.

Topic Bisexuals: have you ever had doubts about your sexuality?
Posted 14 Dec 2014 17:49

I understand what you mean. When you come out as gay you feel that there's no going back! It's a BIG thing mentally to come out as being gay and it's so easy to stay that way.
I think a lot of gay guys are like you. Bisexual, but nearer the gay side. My friend is the same but has always kept his bi side open.

Self-identification isn't really my issue. I'm pretty comfortable with my feelings, but having to come out twice is pretty much the worst.

Also, I love how you said "the gay side" like it was synonymous with "the dark side". Does the gay side have snacks? I could go gay if you have snacks.

I have a bit of a love-hate relationship with porn. It's pretty good when you find the right clip, but there is a lot out there that just doesn't make the cut. My favorite clips are so overused that they don't really do it for me any more.

Imagination is just a lot more variable. You can tune in to exactly what might turn you on and just go with it from there. So... I went with erotica, because that's the forum that I usually use to play out my imagination. I've learned to type one-handed by now. free-sexy-smileys-947

Topic Bisexuals: have you ever had doubts about your sexuality?
Posted 13 Dec 2014 17:35

I've been having some problems like this very recently. I've been crushing on a girl who only knows me as a gay man. I've got all of those usual anxieties about crushing on someone who might not feel the same way... Long story short, she's been a friend for a very long time and I don't want to lose that for the sake of a relationship that probably won't work... blah blah blah, my problem.

I still have to out myself as a bisexual man to her. It's never been very important to me that people know, but I really hate being misunderstood. When I outed myself as a gay man, it was because I really thought that that's what I was. Now... I have to do it again. Shit.

I know how to take it slow when it comes to my own feelings, but I find it difficult to act on them because I hate being misunderstood so much. I don't know where that puts me in relation to your article... but I've often felt perfectly comfortable liking who I like.

Topic Just for porn or is it true?
Posted 13 Dec 2014 17:19

I suppose it would have to do with a guy's preference. For some, the visual thing is a big turn on. For me, the preference is to do it with a partner, rather than on a partner.

Porn is like a surrealist show. There's not a lot of real pleasure in those money shots.

If it wasn't already obvious by my profile pictures, I'm a fan of The Last Man.

I would add in the V for Vendetta graphic novel, but I don't think that gives me any points. Everyone likes Alan Moore.

Topic What movie have you seen the most??

I have too many to list!

Though I do have a few that I save because I don't want to wear them out too quickly.

Jackie Brown - My favourite Quentin Tarantino movie. Judge me all you want.
One Week - An indie film involving Joshua Jackson on a motorcycle.
A Dream of Armageddon - Okay... not really a film. It's an audiobook version of the HG Wells story. Still good, though.
V for Vendetta - I don't give a shit about V, but I can't get enough of Evey. "God is in the Rain"

Topic Silly question: stories with your real name
Posted 27 Jul 2014 15:31

My name is also uncommon, but I have encountered a minor character in a fantasy novel who shared my first name.

She was a fat, matronly old sorceress. She was something of a legend, known for her strictness and for her punishments (It's always a paddlin').

I had to put down a pet recently, so I've had this on my mind a lot. I know it's not the same thing as people euthanasia, but there are emotional similarities if you care about your pets the way my family does. My father doesn't actually see the difference. He's not handling Griffin's death very well.

To my mind, I can't easily forget the perverse way Griffin suffered before we took him into the clinic. It was hard to watch him walk; I was terrified that I was going to be there when one of his legs snapped like a dry twig. I would have had to watch, because he cried out every time we left his sight for more than a minute. I spent two nights trying to catch a short nap whenever his pain died down. I would tell you what we found on his back haunches... but you may be wanting to eat later. I'll spare you that detail, though it'll be a while before I'm able to forget it.

My mum's out of the country at the moment, but she weighed in on Griffin's situation before she left. She told me, "The second I think he's suffering, I'll make him an appointment at the clinic." When I spoke to my dad about taking him in, we argued about the limits of suffering. Watching Griffin, I found myself at the limits of what I was willing to watch. We were responsible for him, so we made the call.

Topic Scotland - Brave or Foolhardy
Posted 27 Jul 2014 10:15

I'm not up on the Scotland thing, so you'll have to forgive me if this is condescending (or, in addition to many other things, wrong in any way).

The Province of Quebec recently held an election for Premier, and one of the candidates was for the separation of Quebec. Her plan was similar to the bullet points that dpw laid out. She was ridiculed in the media, then promptly lost the election. It's been called the worst provincial defeat for the Parti Quebecois in 44 years. Why did it go so badly? They said it was like listening to an ex girl/boy friend lay out the terms of the breakup:

1. We won't be calling each other "boyfriend" and "girlfriend" in public anymore.
2. We're not going to split our bank accounts, but I'm going to limit your access to mine.
3. I'm still going to be using your fridge, but you're not allowed to eat anything that I put in there.
4. We still have to have sex, but only when I want to.
5. I'm still going to use your free massage card... etcetera etcetera.

Topic What's your opinion on abortion?
Posted 27 Jul 2014 09:51

The USA's health care system truly baffles me.

Ditto

To quote you "SHIT YES" how did a situation such as you mentioned even occur in the first place thats insane. I mean I could maybe understand that morally perhaps a GP would feel uncomfortable with refering a woman if they were anti abortion but as far as I am concerned and excuse my language thats just tough shit, they should have chosen another profession. As for a Doctor working in an abortion clinic who is anti abortion I have no words, why the hell would a Doctor train up for that in the first place if it is disagreeable to them??

I don't hold a lot of sympathy for the GP that doesn't want to be "complicit" in an abortion. I've heard it compared to a guy training as a skydiving instructor when he's afraid of heights. That's not really true, now is it? It's like a skydiving instructor suddenly deciding he doesn't beleive in gravity! (Then continuing to hold skydiving lessons)

I found an American source that said 'obstetrics' is the field of medicine that typically performs an abortion. I wonder what the protocol is for explaining to starry-eyed med students that theirs is the field that performs such a nasty little deed? I bet there are tears... and a rapid re-evaluation of career goals.

On a side note, there has been some small history of abortion specialists being attacked in Canada. Some of the websites I've looked at warn that may not offer the procedure out of fear for their safety. That's... it's a protected right in Canada to "refuse unsafe work". I've had to assert that right in the past.

Topic What's your opinion on abortion?
Posted 27 Jul 2014 01:11

I 100% agree its a moral choice if one is against it then they should not be forced to be the cause of it.....however why would a Dr who was morally against such a thing be working in an abortion clinic in the 1st place....id say that was morally wrong surely he or she couldnt possibly be inobjective?

Think Huh.

That's actually a much better point than I was prepared for. I'd say it's the result of all of me being all smug and Canadian with my free health care, but that's not really true. In my experience, patients go to family doctors for their care, then ask for a referral to another specialist if the problem can't be fixed with prescription drugs or a shot in the arm.

In order to perform an abortion, someone needs to train to be an abortion specialist. Shit. I guess there's really no circumstance where a doctor might be forced into it.

Topic What's your opinion on abortion?
Posted 25 Jul 2014 17:19

Though it might start to sound different, this is a basic summary of my beleifs:

- Woman making a difficult, but necessary choice = Good.
- Any other motherfucker rendering moral judgement on that choice = Really bad ...and shut up.
- Adoption = Also good, but harder (or so I gather)

More and more, I'm finding that politics rarely deals with absolutes. We just like to think of it that way A) when we want to shut the conversation down B) when we're on the internet (and we want to shut the conversation down). Keeping that in mind, my opinions on abortion- related topics are typically more complex than this.

For instance, the Hobby Lobby Supreme Court decision in the United States inspired some similar talk north of the border. To my surprise, I found that I don't beleive a doctor should have to perform a procedure he/she finds morally objectionable. There's a big difference between knowing that a procedure exists and doing the deed. However, that same doctor should not be able to make that procedure unavailable to the patient entirely. If a doctor is unwilling to perform an abortion, he/she should have to refer that patient to someone that will. Some Canadian activist tried to argue that a referral was tantamount to complicity of all things. That's moronic.
