What's your skincare routine? Do you even have one? What are some of your favourite brands or prefered products?

I wear makeup most days, and because of this, I've gotten myself into a routine, to protect and maintain my skin. I always remove my makeup. That's my number one. No matter how hard I've partied, or how drunk I am, I always remove my makeup. Most of my skincare and makeup I order from Sephora online, purely out of necessity. I don't always have time to go to the shops and mill about looking for products that will work for me.

I have a cleanser I use every day that is from the brand E.L.F. I then go in with a toner that has citrus in it, to brighten the skin. I have a facescrub from the Sephora brand, but I only use this once a week, as over-exfoliation can dry skin out and do more harm than good. I then go in with either an Argan oil or coconut oil serum, depending on what the Sephora online store stocks at the time of purchase. I let that soak in and then I go in with another moisturizer. I use two different types of moisturizers. I have a lightweight cucumber moisturizer that I put on in the morning underneath my makeup, to protect my skin. I also wear sunscreen underneath my makeup every day, even in winter. At night, I use a more heavy-duty moisturizer that has collagen in it. It rinses off in the morning. Once a week I use a sheetmask. These are also from Sephora. The green tea and aloe vera ones are my favourite.

There's also an eye cream I really like from Ole Henricksen.

With all the quarantine/social distancing, I've begun to learn to do make up and such. I've never cared much for it, never felt like I had the time to do the whole thing. But it's so fun for me now.

It's made me realize how important it is to take that crap off at night though!. I use the Precision wipes with retinol to remove it, then clean with Philosophy's purity. I have eczema, so I dab a bit of Cortisone at the sides of my nose and medial areas of my eyebrows, then moisturize the rest with It Cosmetic's Confidence in a Cream.

Recently I've been eying the eyes and am trying to remind myself to try these Veriphy or Lancome trials I have. I have all these beauty gifts I've never really used, and it's just time.

Do you feel like the masks are worth the time? (there I go again, lol)

I got really into skincare over lockdown. I think it was more of a self care/pampering type thing, rather than borne out of any great skincare need. Something nice I could do to take care of myself while the world slowly went to shit around me, lol. Good for my mental health.

I tend not to wear makeup day to day, so nothing to remove at night. My skin is pretty dry though, so I need moisture! Current routine is as follows:

Night
Cera Ve hydrating cleanser. Love this stuff.
Glossier exfoliating skin perfector
Retinol - currently switching between pixi and naturium for this
Moisturiser - switching between Lumene Brightening cream and Erno Laszlo Firmarine night cream

Daytime
Cera Ve cleanser
Lumene Nordic glow boost, for vitamin C and hyaluronic acid
Erno Laszlo firmarine day cream. love this and it has spf30 in it

Of course, that's unless I forget/can't be arsed in which case I just don't bother with any of it at night. But I need moisturiser in the morning!

I've also never paid full price for the Erno Laszlo stuff. You can usually get it cheaper on the internet somewhere, but it's one of the best I've found for dry skin so far.

If I wear make-up, it will be something super light, like Mac face and body, or glossier skin tint, but it's usually only for a night out, and well, we all know how well that's gone in 2020, lol.

Me? Soap and hope in the morning, with whatever's in the soap dish.

If it's hot I might even wash my face before bed too

This is an intervention. Normal body soap is too harsh for the face.

I've found a new moisturiser from Lancome that I love. The hydro bomb serum is, well bomb.

Is soap too harsh for my cock, too? I wouldn't want to damage its sensitivity over time

If so, please suggest an alternative cock moisturiser that is suitable. Bonus: might be able to use it on my face too!

I start by placing cucumber over the eyes and use a Deep Sea mud mask to exfoliate. This is followed by a very light facial washing with organic home made oatmeal/shea butter soap. I follow with a deep moisturizer under the eyes with HLA and Vitamin C then complete moisturizing with a human version of cow udder cream. As a final touch I spritz myself with superfine gold dust, its expensive as hell but I'm fucking worth it!

You can’t truly call yourself peaceful unless you are capable of violence. If you’re not capable of violence, you’re not peaceful. You’re harmless.

I suffered a huge eczema /hives flare uo that only affected my face for about a year, give years ago. It knocked my confidence hugely, I could wear make up and hide it anyway. At one point i looked like I had been in a fight.

Since then I've been far more regimented with my skin care. I double cleanse every evening. I use tret a few nights a week azaelic acid, peptides, a hydrating face oil, followed by an eye cream and a face cream with ceramides.

Morning routine is always a single cleanse, vit c, peptides, eye cream, face cream and spf 50.

Products:

Biosaance amino acid cleanser

Dermalogica pre cleanser (I always return to)

Medik8 c tetra lux or Sunday Riley ceo glow oil

Medik8 liquid peptides or kate sommerville

Pai ceramides

Topicals - Faded.

Biosannce or anc eye cream

Face oil - oskia renaissance oil or anything that's hydrating

Face cream varies from lumene, bobbi brown, elf

Dr Dennis gross daily exfoliating (not used daily)

Its been trial and error and I still get eczema flare ups but its far more manageable.

Seeing as I like to wear makeup you would think I would have a better skincare routine but most times I am too lax with it.

Most of my products are Olay which I find works well and does not break the bank. I use an Olay gentle cleanser followed by toner and either the Olay complete or Original beauty fluid along with some e.l.f. eye cream.

I do make sure that when I do wear makeup I remove it all.

(For men, this is not a masturbation lotion, stick w/ Aveeno if you don't want to be a proper selffuck by purchasing water-based lube)

I've added this beauty to my "prep lips for lipstick" since November 2022. I still have a few of the infamous Marc Jacobs lipbalm. Dear lord Satan knows I use to use said lipbalm on my cuticles too.

I'll go into great detail about my skincare routine cause I wear sunscreen on my head(undercut) and makeup on my ears.

I have Krew around Me and they're like children, keep tapping screen. If only I could blame them for my typos, but thats all me lol

Dove soap for cleaning my face, Estée Lauder for my moisturizer, since 1980. Recommended by my dermatologist. Also, drink lots of water!

My skincare routine starts with cleansing my face with a gentle foaming cleanser in the morning and evening. Then, I apply a toner to balance my skin's pH. After that, I use a vitamin C serum to brighten and protect my skin from environmental stressors. I learned about the importance of sunscreen from esthetician school https://www.nwcollege.edu/programs/advanced-aesthetics, so I never skip this step. I finish with a light moisturizer and eye cream.

Face: a bit of toothpaste that drips down my chin while brushing, followed by Dove cleansing bar in the shower. then a good electric razor to scrape the hair and dead shit off my skin!

Changed my routine today because I have dry skin which is looking dull, and I want to swap to BB cream with spring/summer arriving. Usually use soap and glory face wash, followed by toner and a moisturiser with spf before applying makeup. This morning I used my face wash, toner then Byoma balancing face mist, Boots glow serum around cheeks and forehead then No7 booster serum directly to lines I'm beginning to develop around eyes. Then followed by moisturiser with spf before minimal foundation.

As far as washing myself's concerned, I use artisanal liquid Marseille soap enriched with sweet almond oil.

To fight the effects of the very hard water we have here (our water comes from aquifers and the underground's mostly limestone 😅), I use a 30% urea cream (Uriage) to moisturize at least twice a week.

About twice a month, I put on a 'cherry peel' mask (Cosmence) on, let it dry while my wife waxes my 'nether regions' and armpits, and peel it off once she's done.

I rarely shave, using a trimmer instead to keep the '3-days stubble' look my wife prefers. But nevertheless apply an after-shave balm afterward (L:A Bruket 229)

That's all.

I get out of the shower and dry off. Sometimes I stay in the shower and dry off...with the shower turned off.

puts the ‘ass’ in ‘class’.
