😨🙀 Yeah, I would need one, too, after that. We had gusts in that range not long ago and it wrecked one of my trees. Far enough away that the house was not at risk, but had it gone a different direction, it might have taken out a fence.

Yeah, they need to assess the damage and review records and stuff. We are kind of lucky here in London in that the Northern Tornadoes Project, who often get to make that call here in Canada, is based at the local university so storms here tend to get checked out quickly. Tomorrow can't come soon enough. Nightwish, currently my favourite band ever, are releasing the first single from their next album. In fact, it's already out in places that have passed midnight since the streamers release at midnight in each time zone. This is their first new material since 2020 and the early buzz on Floorworld, the fan site for their lead singer, is very positive so far. On the down side, they are taking a break from touring so we won't be hearing this one live any time soon, which is too bad. I love their live albums and watched several livestreams of their festival shows in 2022 and they are even better live than in the studio.

Some heavy metal band called Thunderstorm. No vocals but one hell of a drummer. 🤣

Even if both parties are high? I mean if one is drunk/high and other is less so, I can see this. But if both are drunk/high? Then I can see it being consensual, esp. if both went in intending to get it on while getting baked. Those are nasty. We have had those in this area (in fact, wouldn't be surprised to hear the storm that just rolled through produced them) and they were basically just as bad as the force 1 and 2 tornadoes we occasionally get.

Yeah, pretty warm for May here, too. 31C (88F) the next two days with a chance of late day storms. Very July-August weather, in other words and more what I would expect for Canada Day (July 1) or the Civic Holiday (first Monday in August) than Victoria Day.
