I've only written 2 "series" type stories. One was planned and completed. the other was supposed to be a one-off but I added another chapter. I had plans to write the 3rd part, but it never came together. I've had requests to make a couple of stories into a series but I just can't get a plan in place to know where I want to go so I've left them as single stand-alone stories. I'm in awe of writers who have no problems writing long involved and well-written series.

Thanks for the suggestion Harley. But I already tried that on my own and it had no impact. I guess I'll just have to wait until after the new year and hope this gets fixed. I hate having to search each author to see if they've published something new. Just time consuming and it worked so beautifully in the old version (along with a lot of other things).

I receive a lot of notifications each day, most from people I don't know (not friends or follows). However I never get notifications about new stories from authors I've been following for a long time. What do I need to do to be sure to get notifications about stories from authors I follow.
