She stamped her feet. Her lips were pouted, as angry as a cat protecting her young.  Fuming seeing only the red mist that clouded her view, denying her everything but rage.

But then impervious to her claws, my arms enfold her, my tongue speaks to her without words.  My mouth claims her and after some resistance, and just like that, she is back to being my curious, and obedient little kitten.

But, she is worth whatever chaos she brings to my table, and I know it.

And ultimately, if not a kiss...
