Its not a matter of inadequacy hun, don't think of it that way. Everyone is different. Thats all. I do have orgasms that easily and trust me when I say that it can be problematic. It doesn't make me feel inadequate...the same way porn doesn't make me feel inadequate. This is because I know it's far-fetched (seriously, the only way I cum from giving head is if I'm fingering myself or something else in regards to my pussy). As far as a woman climaxing from hearing a guy say her name, that's just ridiculous. I can understand having an orgasm from him breathing on her clit if she's already been worked up some other way.
Stories like that are indicative of someone who doesn't know much about pleasing a woman, and I avoid those.

Stories that take too long to do this tend to seem drawn out, and as a result people lose interest. Depends on the story. Sometimes a story rooted in concrete realism is a good thing, and sometimes absurd fantasy is fun. A girl who cums and cums and cums can be an erotic set of imagery. In my own stories, I often answer them with men who can go again an and again, producing huge (often increasingly huge) loads the entire time. Fantasy is not reality, but can still be arousing. Exactly and to add - it really also depends on the moment. There are times of heightened excitement - maybe its who you are with, the occasion - whatever, that even a small thing can trigger an orgasm. It's fun in fiction. A lot of people want to read about sex when everything turns out good and fun. Everyone gets off and is happy. No bummers. No arguments. No lack-of.
But that's not to say that some women do and some don't get off that way. Everyone's different in real life. But if you compare yourself to fiction you'll always feel low about yourself. Fiction is an art form of blurring reality with pure fantasy.
I write my stories based on non-fiction, and I hope that the reality of situations I am in comes through. Sometimes it doesn't go perfectly, just like life. Sure I embellish the stories to make them more readable, but I always try to make them totally realistic for the reader's benefit. That is also the kind of story I like to read... one that is totally believable. So I agree... the instant orgasm or whatever makes the story not that desirable to me to read. Sure, that can happen, but I have been alive for enough years to want to hear stories or accounts of what other people have gone through and are going through.
