I got a notification that someone had commented on one of my stories last night when this was going on. When I checked this morning the comment wasn't there..Could this be this bug too or did they just change their mind and removed the comment

Gav, do you think the problem will recur at some point, or was it just a temporary fix that you did last nite? And...was the slowness of some pages loading a symptom of the database issue, or could that just have been my scotch kicking in? You aren't reponsible for the imaginary bugs crawling on my skin in the morning when I wake up, are you?

This should be an isolated incident. I'm in consultation with the engineers over at Mongo so that it doesnt happen again.

i don't know if it was just me, but when the site was down i could get to HS (which since i don't read/speak spanish did me no good) but i couldn't get on SS at all. i just got a blank page.
