I’ve never written erotica before but I’m thinking about having a go. Is anyone willing to be my muse and sounding board? Preferably a woman so I can make sure I capture the female perspective and desires accurately

Why do you want to write from the female perspective?

She is probably the best content creator on the internet! smile

My real advice is to focus on the specifics. Good details are the key to a hot story,

Tintinnabulation - first place (Free Spirit)
Comet Q - second place (Quick and Risqué Sex)
Amnesia - third place (Le Noir Erotique)

Sorry if I wasn’t clear. I’d be writing from the male perspective but keen to make sure that any female dialogue etc are authentic

I have a story. But I know my grammar isn't acceptable by lush standards.

Oh I see what you mean. Happy to give you my thoughts if you post something in my messages, I don't know how typical I am of the 'female perspective', though, or even whether there is such a thing. So may not be of much use!

Lush called me out once and rejected a story for bad grammar. They told me to try Grammarly; that was a couple of years ago at least. Grammarly is hardly foolproof but it helps. Some people prefer other programs. Nothing replaces careful human proofreading however. I think it is possible to get a volunteer editor on this site if necessary.

Also, most of the moderators here will tell you what you need to fix and how to work on it, but you have to listen to them! They're incredibly helpful and supportive, and each story you write you'll get better, with their help, I know I did! You getting better makes their job easier, and they will always appreciate you if you're making a real effort. ❤️

Pretty soon you'll be cranking out smut with the best of 'em! 😉🤣

Please take a peek at my stories! Here's a small variety pack:

To Soar With Eagles | Lush Stories An emotional story of love and loss that may touch your heart. Sexy... yes, of course, but uplifting as well! And a Recommended Read!

I Like Big Cocks and I Cannot Lie: Part 1 of 2 | Lush Stories A 2-part story of my bisexual husband and I engaging with a very well-endowed friend!

The Gift That Keeps On Giving | Lush Stories My thoughtful husband gifts me an erotic beach massage session with a large and talented Jamaican masseur... and oh my!

Does anybody know if there is a app that I can record into as well as have a playback to me please be aware I am a Canadian so it’s difficult to find things. Most of my stuff is in Docs which I can read into but I’m having a hard time getting it to read back to me so I can find my mistakes or where I want to change things.

Thank you, rosebud🌹

It took a number of years of writing on three different sites before I attempted a female narrator from her first person POV. I've done it on Literotica and I'm doing it here with the Chloe's Confessions series. It's a challenge but it's a lot of fun too. It helps that the women are from a time and place that I knew well in my own youth.

The best advice I can give you is to give your women characters more traits than just physical. It kills me to read a story where the only thing I find out about the lady is that she has "double-D tits."

Honestly, a lot of times, less is more. A good rule is to only describe something if it's relevant to your story. Is it important to mention her breast size, or can you just describe how they feel when he's finally allowed to touch her? Does it matter what color her underwear are, or can you just say she eagerly took them off and threw them on the lamp?

Give her a personality and a reason to be there. Even if you're writing from a male POV, you can express a lot about her from what he observes. If he picks her up in a bar, there's a world of difference between a woman sitting alone, nursing a drink, surprised to be approached and a woman who's wearing an outfit designed to be noticed, who makes eye contact from across the room, or beckons you closer.

Most of all, though, just keep writing! Getting past the first hurdle to even put pen to paper is a huge step. Stick with it, you've got this.
