How would you react if your man was into anal stimulation for himself? Stimulating prostrate, anal toys, taking it deep, etc.

That's what the stories are there for - to provide inspiration for better orgasms.

Well, not a bad relationship to have with a story, that.

Although, I'd be more circumspect saying it is exhaustively only this.

I’m a happy drunk. Giddy. Goofy. Flushed face. Always laughing my ass off and doing goofy shit just makes me laugh more. But I can’t write when drunk. While drinking? Hell ya.

Only recently have indulged in the smoke. First time, had a hybrid of about 11% and was a really fun experience. I felt drunk. All my senses were heightened to the point of paranoia, but in that fun way. “Shh. Shh. Do you think they heard that?” And then laugh my ass off. I heard things I’d not heard before. But I was in no condition to write.

Then next time, I tried a much stronger version of sativa (19%) and got impatient, smoked too much, and experienced cotton mouth, and major sensory overload. It was like a strobe light was flashing in my brain on the highest setting, and a little monkey was slamming his cymbals together at the base of my brain at the back of my neck. I was wrecked. I considered calling an ambulance but I knew I only needed to go through this for two or three hours. What I didn’t know was that time vertically stood still. I’d close my eyes and try to focus on various things, trying to pass time. But when I would check my phone for time, thinking ten or fifteen minutes passed, it was usually just a minute or too. It was excruciating. I was in no condition to write.

Recently, I got another blend, this time a four strain blend, and tried again. I became detached from my self, unable to control my journey. That complete lack of control is something I do not like. Again, writing was a no go. If I drink too much, I get tired and sleep. Not with smoking, at least, not for me.

I’m not going to vape or try edibles, but I’d like to tinker with a bong. It’s quite possible, one puff of the magic smoke is all I need. Too much, and I’m baked and detached. No thank you.

But seriously, do I really need any chemical help to be more creative? I don’t think so. I don’t foresee me writing high, but a few rum and cokes, some limoncello, or a glass of vintage port loosens me up just enough to write. I think I need to do so this weekend. It’s been a while.

Makes sense. Smoking up IN ORDER TO BE creative is a different thing though. For some smoking weed is just for a mild high, or a soothing sensation. It's not QUITE like drinking coffee, but it's not as far off for me, for example, as most would think. It's certainly not a case of getting hammered or completely baked. For me, sometimes, it can be more like an accompaniment. At best a mild catalyst but hardly the harbinger of inspiration.

Let's just go with I'm not even remotely okay with incest, and have difficulty believing that it is a healthy idea to entertain, even if no action is ever taken. Fantasy or no, it's just not something about which I enjoy thinking or reading. Also, do you know how difficult it is to obtain napalm now? Reading an "incest fantasy" story tends to make me not want to praise the author but to go....uh, test out my flamethrower (totally legal!). Which never ends well.

Ah, I see. I trust napalm would not be very easily obtainable, but understandable question perhaps. I shouldn't say too much on the topic at any rate, as you might easily find out.

Because most of what used to be taboo is now readily available for free in vast quantities. They're creeping into the mainstream. 50 shades of gray. Eat that booty like groceries. The novelty and high is gone. It's no longer edgy, rebellious, and dirty. It's on your movie screen and on your radio all the time.

You already see the same progression happening with incest content. "In-law" and "Step" isn't enough now. That's reaching a saturation point in porn videos. Aunt, Uncle, Niece, Nephew are getting there as well. The numbers are falling on that sort of content, and it's full-on blood relatives in the nuclear family pulling in the big numbers now.

I hadn't actually thought about that. That's an interesting insight.

And yes, it boggles the mind. Perhaps it would be prudent to stop here, since it's a classic (Oedipal complex), and has sustained a long time. But there will be peripheral taboo genres as tech progresses, and yes, it might well get scary in a serious way.

Like Mollydoll told me when I asked her: It's the hottest form of taboo. I'm guessing its so sick, that' it's s not sick if that makes sense. It's hot for some reason, and a lot of people latch onto it or don't at all. My point is that it's completely obvious, or a total mystery. You can't be sure what is going on in people's heads to make them like what they like, just like with their taste in movies, music, food, or anything else. The lion's share of my stories are in that category, and I have no idea why I the concept so hot, I just do.

Yeah I understand what you're saying. Not that it's important, but I've never had any concept of incest in real life until I found it in erotic stories (later porn). It was instantly exciting for me to read these stories, but had zero implications on my desires outside of them.

While, I'd enjoy seeing some of my stories acted out professionally, there are more than a few issues, including the fact that the market isn't exactly starving for content, and writing the story is a minor part of producing a porn video of any quality. Furthermore, there's the issue of payments - how to generate revenue for the site for film producers to gain access to these stories, and whether or not authors will receive compensation (and how much? Probably not very much).

Yes, I understand and agree with these concerns. While the idea of specifically lush stories being adapted audio-visually is exciting, what I was trying to refer to broadly is using better material for erotic films than the stuff we get in pornography. I think demand is the big thing. If lushstories shows that there is demand for narrative ridden sex stories, then perhaps someone will take a leap of faith that mini erotic series on a streaming platform will likewise invite decent traffic.

This. The "feature films" that the porn industry has churned out to date have mostly been absolute tripe. But then I guess the market is girls with fake everything making as much noise as possible so blokes get off quick so the odds of someone writing something with an actual plot that also has great sex is quite low if pandering to that demographic.

That said, there have been some excellent porn and mainstream stories with gratuitous sexual elements, either implied hardcore or actual. 9 Songs wasn't too bad and had some nicely shot naughtiness. Maddy O'Reilly in "The sexual liberation of Anna Lee" was pretty freaking hot. Eva Green in The Dreamers had some damn fine moments and a decent (if typically French) plot. And the lesbian scene in Blue Is The Warmest Colour - about an hour and a ten mins in, I uhhh, have been told smile - is possibly one of the hottest mainstream scenes on film, imo. Again, the film is typically moody and over-long, but pretty good all told.

So there is precedent out there. And there are great stories on Lush, so I'd wager an anthology type of affair would be possible if - as seeker4 says - the right people (non-pornstars) were willing to be in them.

Yes, sure. The films you named are nice indeed. I wouldn't say 'typically French' is the defining characteristic of The Dreamers, but I understand why you might have put it the way you did. I'd like to add the films of Catherine Breillat, Jean Claude Brissau to the list. I also liked Gasper Noe's Love 3D somewhat. But these are not the only things I had in mind when I wrote what I did up top. The variety of good quality stories in Lush would demand a wider reach, and be better off for it. I would be willing to tolerate some less than oscar worthy acting performances if it meant start of a new effort in the domain of erotic filmmaking.

There's a thread around here somewhere about films people would like to make and I think one of my ideas was an anthology series based on Lush stories. Given the short length of most stories here due to the 10K word limit, I think that might work better than a film. Though if it was successful, maybe one of the more popular novels/series could be done as a film tie-in.

It would obviously have to be streamed. Even cable would probably want things toned down to softcore. Perhaps one of the porn sites would consider hosting the stream or perhaps Nic could build something here.

The main problem that I see is going to be quality. Not too many really good directors or performers will do hardcore so we'd probably have to shoot softcore if we wanted better quality. Perhaps, though, there are some porn stars who can also handle the acting needed for some of the better stories. I just haven't seen much evidence of it in the porn features I have seen over the years.

Yes, I actually agree on all points. Thinking of this, even if not entirely seriously, the first problems that came to mind for me were funding and talent. I agree that it has to be streamed, that mostly they have to be episodic in nature, and that one would have to start softcore, and then depending on popularity progress further. I'm okay with this idea. The parallels in my mind however, are not porn features as such, but more like the pink film culture in Japan or the films of Jean-Claude Brisseau (especially A l'aventure).
Active Ink Slinger
I'm sure I'm not the first one to talk about his, but I don't see an active thread on it.

Yes, I do think that erotic stories form a distinct medium which has it's own specificity, and they cannot simply be translated into film with the same effect. However, some stories ARE cinematic. Sometimes they've risen from a cinematic imagination in the first place.

If someone could figure out the financial aspect of it, I think a place like lushstories could be an excellent source of ideas, and script writers for erotic feature films, or even series. Clearly, it'd be better than the host of relatively big budget porn feature films that we have now.

Thanks for the update, and good luck.

On the bright side, you still have 9 years to make it to Steve Carell's "40 Year Old Virgin."

Absolutely! Great question btw

I remember the first authors profile I read I immediately wrote to him before I even read one of his stories. I was so drawn to him and his words. His stories are just icing on the cake. He is one of my all time favorite friends.

I have had many conversations with authors over the time I have been on Lush and not one of them has ever not been amazing to talk to even in just casual conversations.

The mind is a beautiful thing and to be able to talk to people who can express themselves so Lushiously is simply amazing.

So I apparently do get attracted to the authors well their minds anyway.

Yes, I see. You talk about interaction as well. I agree that the mind can be a beautiful place, and a certain level of carefree abandon I see in online conversations on sexual imagination and preferences, can be both educational as well as interesting.

Nope. I'm more interested in the writer as a person sometimes, but I'm not ready to throw my panties at them.

Haha... sure, I guess that sounds more understandable. And interesting.

Thank you to everyone for all the responses. It's continually insightful with each comment.

Just to let anyone know who might be reading, and is somewhat skeptical of the idea, I don't mean potential friendship or romance judging from how someone has written their story. That might well be possible, but all I mean is would you be tempted towards or curious about sexual interaction with the author because there was something in the writing that intrigued you.

more likely to be attracted to them if they've got ginormous tits.

Active Ink Slinger
I would say, yes, on certain occasions. Firstly, it is because the situations I've written were arousing for me in the first place (that's why I wrote them after all). But even more than that it's to do with the fact that when it is a story I have written I have an expanded sense of environment, characters, intimacy, etc. All of these things can be valid for someone else's story too, after all that is what good writing is about. But arousal can sometimes come easy from your own stories, at least some of the time.
Active Ink Slinger
Depends I think.

Sometimes it's a lust for a certain sexual scenario to be played out, with some universally acknowledged context.

Other times, there can be an imagination of certain narrative elements that draw me to write. These plot details can be intriguing by themselves, and/or add to the atmosphere of the sexual interactions in the story.

I must add that sometimes we take it for granted that interesting narrative is necessarily superior to genre sex stories, or 'mindless sex'. I think this is unnecessary. As we have seen in multiple art forms including literature and cinema, richness of plot is welcome, but it is by no means the sole marker of artistic excellence or entertainment.
Active Ink Slinger
Do you ever smoke up while writing for lush? If so, does it do anything specific for you in terms of the writing?
Active Ink Slinger
Is it just me, or does the incest fantasy genre stories on lush generally get a greater amount of traffic than some of the other genres? I'd guess most of us who do read these stories are not actually drawn to incest in our lives, so I wonder why we delight ourselves in reading them in large numbers. Is it JUST the taboo aspect then?

I'll have to agree with Seeker's comment. There are many stories here I've read and enjoyed to the extent that I am jealous of the author's ability to string words together in a creative manner. At times I've wished I could write even half as well, and will gladly read other stories by the same person, so I guess in that vague sense, I'm attracted to that individual. However, it's not an intimate attraction, nor can I think of anytime I've sent them a friend request based entirely on the story. In fact, most of the people I either have, or still chat with on a daily basis, had never published a story at the time we became friends. Having done some writing myself, I admit that to a certain extent we put a bit of ourselves into the words we write, but it is still only a story which may be totally make-believe.

The friends I am most fond of, are ones that have taken the time and effort to put together a descriptive profile. I watch what they say and how they present themselves in these forums, and to a certain extent, what they don't say, and from that information, I get a feeling of the kind of person they are. This will dictate whether or not I send them a friend request.

That's rather well put, I understand. For me, on rare occasions it's like a mild temporary attraction based mostly off an admiration for and curiosity about the mind that had imagined a story I had just read.

Absolutely. If I read a story with very descriptive, well-written, erotic scenes - especially the ones that make me feel like I'm there and experiencing it along with the characters - then there's no way I won't see that author, at some level, in a sexual light. I mean, I'm in their head (to a certain extent) and I may like what's in there. :-)

And if someone can describe an act or encounter that demonstrates skill and finesse, be it in a story or a chat, then I find that very arousing. If someone's "imagination" strikes a chord with you, opens a new world up to you, and/or creates a fantasy you didn't even know you had, you might be very attracted to them (or at least their imagination).

I actually really like the specificity with which you've framed an answer which is basically 'Yes.'
"...then there's no way I won't see that author, at some level, in a sexual light. I mean, I'm in their head (to a certain extent) and I may like what's in there. :-)" this holds very true for me, you've just framed what I thought much better. I am indeed excited to discover some new fantasy which I never knew I might have had before, by way of a story. But even more than that, certain nuances of sexual imagination and of how how two or more people can share a space together wrapped in eroticism, makes me feel a kind of admiration for the mind that crafted it and a possible attraction towards the person (young or older, stereotypical sexy or otherwise).
Active Ink Slinger
So I should mention first that I do find women attractive based on their looks and physical mannerisms. However, if I read a story whose imagination and presentation really interests me and/or turns me on I might feel potentially attracted to the person who wrote it (whether it is someone I know, or otherwise). As a reader of erotic stories, do you think you'd be attracted to someone based on how they wrote about sex and intimacy? Could a story make you want to fuck the person who imagined it?
