I hope to use some of my precious spare time to write some more stories, work on my blog (ask about it), and connect with people of diverse interests and backgrounds.
I can't chat here because my subscription expired, intentionally. Perplexingly it's no longer "free" to chat, even if one of the parties has paid. This site is not at all what it once was. Something I happily supported by paying for, for years, is so diminished in features now, I do not see the value in continuing to pay for the privilege to chat. In the past year, I've lost friends who I am guessing were also disappointed in the recent dumbing-down of site features. When there are external free chat alternatives, is it any surprise that numbers of chatroom participants is diminished. A 60% increase in subscription costs for fewer features seems counter-intuitive, but that is the current reality. Given the simple economics of what you now get for what you pay for, what do you think is the life expectancy of the site as it is currently run?
Interests
Hiking, cycling, astronomy, boating, perfecting written and oral skills (practice makes perfect, always looking for willing recipients). Fixing shit and tearing shit apart.
I am open to chat (ask me how, in a message). I very much appreciate your comments on what few stories I have written. And I am always interested in your life experiences, intelligent thoughts, stories, poetry, and pics.
I have to admit I am a pussy-eating aficionado. I started two years before I lost my virginity, and I think that got my priorities straight right from the start. It is a skill requiring frequent practice, until it is mastered as an art. Every work of that art is different, and of course very special and satisfying. I am always interested in improving, and practice makes perfect, don't you think?
