I found LUSHstories by accident and in the short time I’ve been here I’ve fallen in love with the wonderful, wild, sexy, and smart folks here.
For the last eighteen months, I’ve been working on my first novel, “Secrets of Liberty Mountain: No Man’s Land” (74,000 words).
I’ve been a writer and community journalist for forty years. Liberty Mountain is my first work of fiction.
I’ll be honest; I started the book as a throwaway - I had always wanted to write a dirty story so, what the fuck, I gave it a shot.
I’ve been a fan of Apocalyptic Survival stories, and books with a touch of sensual erotica like the “Clan of the Cave Bear” series by Jean M. Auel.
To make things interesting, I made my guy a doppelganger of myself and put him in the most impossible situations I could imagine: I dropped him into an all-woman survivalist cult living off the grid for fifteen years.
The ladies of Liberty Mountain have chosen to live in a world without men as they prepare for the end-of-days.
My hero is a homeless and disabled Vietnam Veteran with all the bad plumbing and wisdom which comes with age.
The leader of the clan has killed intruders in the past and is willing to kill again to keep her home a secret.
I’ll say no more. You’ll need to read the story to find out how the adventure turns out.
In many respects, SoLM Is the autobiography of a life I never lived. I did spend time stuck in a lesbian nudist colony off the coast of northern Maine. I was the unwilling guest of my girlfriend and her secret lover. It was a remarkable experience if you don't mind mosquito bites. I’ll write that story later.
ABOUT ME
Thanks to exposure to Agent Orange while deployed to Vietnam, I am today a 100% disabled veteran. I spent four years in the Air Force and received an honorable discharge with the rank of Sergeant (E-4). I spent two years overseas in Japan and Vietnam as an Instrument of US foreign policy.
For reasons which will forever remain a mystery, I joined the US Army after I got out of the Air Force and spent a year playing weekend warrior with D Troop, 5Th Armored Cav. Sergeant (E-5).
While in Japan I lost my virginity to a cougar three years younger than my mother. Her name was Ako, and she was a drop-dead gorgeous woman and the secretary of the unit commander. (The details are a story waiting to be told - stay tuned.)
