thanks for your response. I am using firefox and as soon as I get to chap 2 and 10 the page appears for less than a second before it disappears. Tried again and same thing happened but I noticed the side bar slider/scroller was right at the top of page. When I scrolled down almost to the bottom the chapters appeared but in very small text, but I was able to save as pdf. When I checked the pdf it was saved in normal size. I was in the Hilltop Suites in Commerce, Los Angeles and went down for breakfast bright and cheery and said to the Maitre'd "what beautiful day".
