Hmmm. I would like to know that one myself. Erotic different that porn?

It was the BEST FRIENDS series that is published here on lush. all three chapters got a 4.5 or higher score, so I figured i'd publish it on amazon, but they wouldn't take it. It's not any more porn than the other ebooks lush publishes there. Why do you think they rejected it?

I just tried to publish one of my stories as an ebook on Amazon in KDP. I got a warning that they don't do porn, and they would cancel my account if i did so again. I'm seeing all these stories from other lush writers being published. What gives?

I've just read a 3 part story and then a 7 part follow up story all in one day they were that gripping. The problem is that each part is in a different category and I think he's missed a lot of readers because of this. Is it possible to reassign categories or delete them and resubmit them in one category?

Sometimes the Lush moderators require a story be moved to a specific category. I published a spanking story in which the guy admitted to thinking incestual thoughts as a child, and one moderator required the chapter be moved to incest. A subsequent mod, upon an edit, permitted in spanking. So it's not always the author's choice where a story goes, particularly if it's a controversial subject, like reluctance or incest.

I've been fortunate to have an excellent editor critique my last few stories before publication. This person didn't just spot obvious misusages, mistypes, poor grammar, etc. They also changed sentences that weren't incorrect to make them better. For example, changing the way I said something to make the important part of the sentence stand out, making compound sentences so everything wasn't so chronological. (Then she said... Then she did this... then she did that, etc).

Due to some personal issues, they no longer have time to help me. I really hate going back to publishing without an editor.

I wonder if there are volunteer editors on this site that will help. I hope to find someone that really understands how to put a paragraph together.

Just wondering why you do not vote or leave a comment for the authors on the stories you read

I don't read the stories that often, I enjoy writing them more. Maybe it's just me, but when I start, I rarely finish a story. Therefore, I don't vote. If the grammer or usage is poor, it throws me off the story and I quit reading it immediately. Or, if the story doesn't get my attention in the first few paragraphs or so, I'll try a different one.

If other readers were like me, you'd need thousands of views just to get a handful of votes/comments. I appreciate comments, and I post em if I finish a story. So the answer to your question could be that they aren't getting read as much as the views would suggest.

hi all

When i write my stories, i often sit naked and get totally turned on writing and visualizing the story unfolding in front of my "Inner" eyes.

As you will see from my profile i normally use "posters" from another website as my inspiration for the characters, and the stories come from fantasies i have had in my mind built up over the years so all are entirely fictional.

The stories themsleves may take a number of attempts to write in full as i deal with my "arousals".

How many other authors use this method of writing, or if not is there any technique you finds suits you better?

I can't write erotica unless I'm aroused. When I get too aroused, I have to relieve myself, then I can't write again until I'm horny again. My Sissy series, and my Private Sex Party series took a long time to write, as i got too aroused as I wrote them.

Hello,

New here, and just submitted my first series, a 7 chapter story. Anyway, as a result, 2 of the readers who enjoyed it have sent friend requests. I have a couple of questions:

1) When getting friend requests, what is your criteria for accepting or rejecting?

2) Do you accept friend requests from members of the same sex, or do you find that unusual?

Not making any judgements, just trying to see what other's feelings and experiences are.

Sometimes stories get lost in the shuffle. Wouldn't it be great to have our own sexy Lush correspondent, with microphone in hand, to ask you a few quick questions about your latest story, just as it hits the home page? Maybe you've already published something that has more meaning than a lot of your other pieces and you'd like to give it a little air-time and inspire new readers to check it out.

Well, I'm tipping the microphone in your direction, so please answer the following mini-interview questions.

Introduce the title of your story: Sissy Chapters 1 - 7
Genre/Category: Incest, but don't let that stop you, there's actually very little in the way of incest in this story.
Provide the link: For some reason, the link isn't working. Don't know what I'm doing wrong

1. What first inspired you to write this particular story? I've always had a fantasy about the little sister joining in.

2. How did you come up with these characters? Just dreamed them up, they aren't anyone from my real life

3. How does it differ from some of your other stories? To be honest, I feel that is is similar to most of my stories. I am a softie for the romance, so all of my stories, even the ones involving reluctance or BDSM are fairly romantic. Funny thing; I got a comment on one of the chapters to the effect that the reader was surprised that such a romantic story could also be so erotic. The reason I found that comment odd, is that I think it would be easier to write an erotic story without sex than it would be to write an erotic story without romance. The sexual tension is what makes a story compelling, not the sex. The romance always makes you want to identify with the characters.

4. What was the most challenging thing about writing this piece? This story wasn't difficult at all. I didn't really have an outline going in, the characters just took over once I started writing, and the story flowed naturally. That's because it's my fantasy. I write best when I'm horny, and I was very aroused as writing this story.

I'm currently working on a story for a lushstory reader, based on one of her fantasies. Since she happens to be very young, and from England, and a female, I find it to be very challenging. I've never been to the UK, and place is very important to her fantasy, so I've had to do a little research. Writing a story about other people's fantasies, especially from the viewpoint of the other sex, is more difficult. They always have specific ideas of how it should be, but don't always communicate those specific ideas. So you really have to probe.

5. Anything else you want to tell us about it?
I find the characters to be very easy to like, and easy to identify with. Those attributes make a story worth finishing, in my opinion. I'm not a novelist, so it's not going to be inducted into the library of congress, but I'm pleased with it and hope you will be too.

Good luck with the votes and views and thanks for your time, XO.

I sent you a PM, redhot.

I have one story published now (7 chapters). The readers have rated it very highly, but almost every single comment has been from a male. That's why I started this thread. It would be an interesting challenge to write a story based on a female's fantasy, rather than my own. I'm currently working on one for one of our female readers here. I'd love to hear from others. Please let me know if you would let me write a story for you.

If you're interested in seeing a sample of my work, I just had a story published entitled Sissy, chapter 1 in the love stories category.

This was one of my fantasies. I tried to publish a story that I had written for a female reader, but the subject matter was taboo here.

Haven't either one of you bothered to peruse this section - this very webpage concerning the various lenient rules of conduct while we are posting comments anywhere within the LushStories forum? .....

Oops, my bad, sorry. Thanks for pointing this out

I posted a similar offer on another site, and had a young female ask me to write a story about her fantasy. It was a fantasy, which surprised me a lot. I never would have guessed that any female would fantasize about that. I personally don't like the rough stuff, but I did write the story, and I just posted it on this site under the title Vienna. I also posted a story I wrote based on one of my fantasies, under the title Sisters. Hopefully, this will give people an idea of my writing style, so you can decide whether to allow me to hear your dirty little secrets and write a story about them.

Some little tips for you -

Explain to us why we would pick you over doing it ourselves?
Why do you not have any examples?
Are you just doing this for jerking material?

You seem like a fake.

Fair enough, Moon

1) The reason someone might pick me over writing a story themselves? There are a lot of people who aren't proficient at writing. Many people read, fewer people submit stories.

2) I do have examples, and I will post some tonight. I've been busy, sorry, but I'll take the time to post at least one or two now.

3) Am I doing this for jerking material? Yes! Do you think less of me for doing so?

All of the stories I've written are my fantasies. Since I'm a male, they tend to be male fantasies. I thought it would be fun to write for ladies. Hence, my original post. Anyway, I'll repost here when my stories are published. As I understand it, it takes a few days? I'll let you know.

I write for a living (not novels, industry articles), but I write erotic short stories for fun. I just found this site, and plan to post some of my existing stories soon. Erotic stories are great during foreplay and during your private playtime. People tend to prefer stories about things that they fantasize about themselves. What could be better than allowing me to write a story about your innermost fantasies. Surprise your lover with a story written about, and for you. Send me as many details as you want about your fantasy. I'll ask questions to draw out more from you, allowing me to write a story that is precisely what you're looking.

Could be short and quick to the action, or I can take more time to develop the characters, as you wish. Any legal age, race, sexual orientation, time, place. Drop me a line.
