A friend and I are going to Las Vegas in Feb, my first time, what can't we possibly miss?
I've heard the Bellagio fountain show is pretty awesome smile
The strip is glamorous, but I agree with Kate Elizabeth, Freemont Street is pretty cool. Downtown is more real than the strip and a tad more seedy.
Oh, and have a trip on the zipline!

... and a well written / erotic story it is (even for an old dude like me!!)

I didn't know you'd read it, but I am glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for the feedback too

My new story has been awarded the Recommended Read. If you adore a needy bottom and fancy a short, but very naughty read...
Katie's Ass. it's probably the finest ass in Vegas.

You can’t truly call yourself peaceful unless you are capable of violence. If you’re not capable of violence, you’re not peaceful. You’re harmless.

Definitely take a wander along the strip and see the various streetside shows, the Bellagio fountains, and so on.

However, to be honest, our favorite day in Vegas was hiking out at Red Rock Canyon for a couple hours. Some rather scary moments for me edging along some narrow ledges when we got up into the rocks, but it was a day well-spent. Then again, my family all enjoy getting out in the fresh air. Our next vacation after that was Yellowstone National Park.

The finest ass in Vegas is moving to the top of the list! 5 days and nights to fill with lesser attractions, so keep the suggestions coming.

Unfortunately my ass is not in Vegas. It's stuck in dreary England! I can wish though!

Go to Caesar's Palace. It's absolutely stunning.

Book 2 days on the hop on hop off bus great way to see Vegas and learn where all the fun spots are from the very knowledgeable tour guides
Staying at the Rio if that matters.
Try a couple buffets, at least.
Watch the free motorcycle show on freemont street in that big round metal cage.

Play some slots, if you never have. Downtown is funky and cool.

Bet low, and drinks are free as long as you're playing. Anywhere there.

( I believe still, anyway)

Roulette is fun.
The Bellagio is gorgeous.
The bus runs everywhere 24/7. You don't need a cab other than to or from the airport.

Buses get busy and full. There's light rail, haven't tried that yet..

I would say it's a lot cheaper to gamble downtown.

Not that I've been, there's some hot nightclubs there too.
If you're interested in organized crime and the Mob, the Mob Museum is a nice place to kill some time (it's up near Fremont, not on The Strip).
If it is your first time get a tram pass. Stop at the different casinos for the architecture alone. While you are there register for players cards. They always give you a bunch of free play. There is a ton of free lounge shows and really cool ones at Circus Circus. Check Internet for schedule. Old town Freemont has animated canopy at night. There are a bunch of Buffets that are excellent. Paris buffet and MGM Grand are a couple of my favorites. If you want to get out of Vegas and see something spectacular, go see the Dam.

Good luck and have fun. Oh Terry Fador is awesome too.
If you're a fan of baseball, I hear Grady Sizemore loves Vegas.

If you're not sure who he is, look him up. He's pretty cool about selfies with fans.

To be honest, there's not much fun to he had in Vegas unless you have loads of money to burn or a connection that can give you VIP-type hookups.

what about cheap hookers?

You must go downtown to the Golden Nugget. The strip is gaudy, glittery plastic and lights; very laid back. The Golden Nugget downtown is marble, brass crystal chandeliers, quiet and dripping with class. You see women in long gowns and dresses, men in suits and tuxes, but also the casually dressed; at least the last time I was there, which admittedly was a number of years ago.

Apparently they're called slut-machines down in Vegas.
The buffet at the Mirage
The show in front of Treasure Island
Fremont street
The canals at the Venetian
Gamble downtown because the table minimums are lower
There's also the Atomic Testing Museum, the container park down by Fremont St., the High Roller viewing wheel, plenty of good shows on the strip but they also have the Smith center for the performing arts.
Cirque du Soleil - Zumanity (New York-New York Hotel and Casino) is a once in a lifetime must see!

I get to Las Vegas quite often and agree with what the other posters have said for you to experience.

The previous poster (Californiawilliam) has touched on of Las Vegas' best gems. There are a plethora of Cirque du Soleil shows at the major hotels in town and I would highly recommend you go to one or two. I would strongly suggest "ONE" which is all about Michael Jackson, at one point he even makes an appearance on stage. Definitely a must see!

The other place you have to go is the piano bar in New York, New York. There are two baby grand piano's pushed together and the artists play for tips. The better you tip them, the faster your song gets played. Here's the fun part though, they will reward you if you request a song they cannot play. The experience is amazing, they play anything from Billy Joel's piano man, to Snoop Dog's no diggity.

Make sure you get there early seeing as the place fills up quite quickly. You can easily spend the whole night there singing and dancing your ass off. A VERY memorable time!
The night that changed my life, a four part series of a married man lusting after his co-worker

No one has mentioned "The Red Rooster" or "The Green Door" or "The Studio". The first two are swingers clubs, and the latter is a store dedicated to electro-stimulation. My girlfriend and I went there one time and there was a naked woman trying out a chair they build that has a fucking machine attached. Very interesting.
Red is the color of sex and signs that say Do Not Enter

The best thing to hear in the middle of the night - Lick Me
Oh I've come here just in time for you smile....Las Vegas is called as the City of Sin....and one of the sexiest city in the country with some of the best shopping malls and of course casinos .... but don't miss these:
1. Luxor nightlife.
2. Bay beach...excellent wave pool, lazy river, swimming pools, and private cabanas ;)
3. Strip House at Planet Hollywood Resort.... you wont regret that :P
4. Pussycat Dolls Lounge at Caesars Palace.
Enjoy the strip, I mean trip lol :P
Zoomanity at the New York, New York. Get one of the couch seats I'm front
pretty good chance i'm coming to vegas sometime this year, either early spring or early fall. glad i stumbled across this thread, i'll keep an eye on it.
Escorts advertise on billboards and the sides of buses. You can quickly miss your money if you gamble it away too fast. The Strip is a MUST SEE. Go to a cabaret!
