I honor the men who serve in the armed forces, less wild about police, firemen ok. For me it is more the man than the uniform. Civilians in uniforms like UPS guys can be cute or dorky looking as well.
It's weird that you used to say that, because I knew a guy where a couple girls became fire firefighters just so they could get closer to guys for the uniform. I think guys in uniform are cute, but that doesn't take away from who they are in real life. Oddly enough, I've had relationships with a Marine, a Corpsman, ex Air Force (current medic/ff listed above), and dated a guy in the National Guard. They were all awesome (without their uniform). I seem to have this magnet of Military guys. I think it it's pretty pathetic when girls fawn over guys just for their uniform and ditch the guys when the uniforms come off.

From my experience as a Soldier and as a Firefighter. There certainly are a lot of women that respond to the Uniform. It always intrigued me to see them.
