it bugs me because i just like chatting to women regardless of their sexual orientation and despite being a man I can read the word LESBIAN and understand its implications anyway Cheers to all women out there

Probably for the same reason that none of your 48 friends are male

It bugs you?

Anyone is welcome to request the friendship of anyone else on here, whether or not they accept the request is up to them. Perhaps your friend request wording needs a little work.

(Lovely of you to make all of the lesbian women on lush sound like misandrists by the way, thanks for that.)

Maybe because they are lesbians? haha
They don't want to talk to men on website like this if they're only interested in women.

I mean, if someone was a straight male, they're not really going to add men on here.
If someone was a gay male, they're not really going to add females on here.
If someone was a straight female, they're not really going to add females on here.

If this site wasn't a sexual site, it would be different. But it is, and people typically only want to add the gender(s) they are interested in.

Good point well made babes.

The majority of my female friends are bi/lesbian, most have male friends and providing the male's in question respect their sexual orientation get along well with them.

The majority of my straight male friends however, will not and do not friend other men regardless of their sexual orientation, why is that I wonder??

I agree with Liz, perhaps it is your approach and not the ladies in question that are the problem.

I really do doubt whether there are many gay males who will not add female friends or lesbians who will not add male friends simply out of principle given their sexual preference unless its due to previous experiences, i.e. the opposite gender friends were unable to respect just friendship and no more.

Me .. I am so very lucky .. nobody sees a skunk as a threat to their sexual orientation .. I have all sorts of friends ..

I beg to differ - I have straight male and female friends, gay and bi male and female friends too...

I just like people for who they are, not WHAT they are...

A quarter of the people in my friend list are male. I make friends regardless of gender, orientation or preference.
I think the fact you're being rejected says more about you and your approach than it does about lesbians.

I am lesbian and I have more men and straight girls as friends on here as in in real life, my relationships here are for friendship, not sexual. I respect their orientation as they respect mine.

It depends on person to person and what they really think.
- if a lesbian woman is on lush for only sexual talk then clearly she would like to add only women.
- if a lesbian woman is on lush for making friends and interaction with others then you might see some men in her friend's list

you hardly see a straight woman sending a message saying "Hello" with a picture of her pussy, but here I have met people who have complimented my story and sent me a picture of their cock, now may be they didn't read my profile where I had clearly told that I'm a lesbian or may be they are just idiots.

Lush is not a porn site (I think so) but it is an adult site where we talk and write about sex, so if a lesbian joins lush then clearly she won't like to talk about sex to a man.

I'm a lesbian but it doesn't mean that I hate man but sometimes when men do stupid things then I really wish to kick their asses, like once this man sent me a friend request with a message "send me some of your nude pics." and because of those people even straight woman think twice before adding a man.

so it doesn't matter lesbian, gay or straight, if you are a good person than you are always welcome in their friend's list.
Be a man to treat me like a princess and fuck me like a whore.

I am sorry about the picture of my tackle however you have to admit I am a big boy. And ok I wondered why I never got the nude pics or the add.

I've got lesbians and bi females as friends. I've even got straight men as friends. I'm very careful about what I post on walls, I like to think I'm respectful towards friends on Lush.

I don't add men because 9x out of 10 I just don't want to. I keep them at arms length true but that's because they tend to think with their dick.

You have to face it, a lot of Lush's lesbian profiles are straight men pretending to be women lesbians, so naturally they don't want some guy sending them a dick pic etc.

Most of the real lesbians just enjoy having friends who ARE real friends, whether male of female. Just treat them as any other friend. Treating them as a sex object when they have no interest or such, in that direction is just stupid.

i 'd say the same as overmykneenow... it's because they're lesbians, the clue is in the word used to describe them

it seems some of you assumed i have requested a lesbian to be my friend at some point well i dont think i have knowingly and as for not having male friends its not something i would actively do however if i was requested i may consider the request. Cheers to all who joined in

Scratches head .. I think our assumption was reasonable. On what basis then did you create the thread with the title that you choose if not due to your experiences on here.

Just because it's in Ask the Gals does not preclude men from answering - it just means that the question is geared towards us lot... Anyone can answer wherever they like...

Nobody said that anyone "can't" talk to anyone else

And I agree with what the others have said - why ask the question?

I cant speak for the Lesbians but I think the reasons have been pretty well stated already. Most of my Lush friends are women, some Straight, some Bi and some Lesbian. But I also have male friends too. As a matter a fact one of best friends here is a male.

The reason I normally don't add men is that the majority of the men who ask me either have no info in their profile or along with the request they send a not that says something like "you look hot, wanna fuck?" If I receive a request like that from a man, woman, or something in between I am going to reject it.

I clearly stated in my profile that I will not add anyone who has a blank profile unless we have communicated and connected on some other level. Or if they at least send a note explaining why he/she thinks we may connect. If the person can not or will not take the time to read my profile and respect what I am asking, then why the fuck would I want to be his/her friend.

actually, your assumption is rather flawed. i know tons of lesbians here who have no issues with adding men to their friends list. sounds more like you're just interested in stirring things up. smile

I find it very funny? ironic? that you started a thread complaining about men being excluded, and you're attempting to do the same thing.

Is it any wonder with a user name like "pizdamuncher" and 2 profiles pics that had to be removed by admin that a lesbian might think you only wanted to talk about sex? Just a thought.

There certainly are some lesbians/bi-women who declare they won't talk to men, and there are also some people who won't add anyone unless they've interacted with them somewhere on Lush. It's all just a matter of personal preference. I don't have it in my bio, but I do screen my friend requests these days. It certainly seems to cut down on the random cock pics I receive.

I have never had that problem. Then again, I'm not trying to cyber up every woman on my friends list either...
