I’m on Lush to enjoy other people’s work and, frankly, to get turned-on. I write for titillation, but also to explore myself. It’s a pleasant diversion to turn a phrase, solve a narrative problem, or choose the right descriptive words. But, it’s also exciting and emotionally provocative to stretch my own understanding of desire to put myself in the mental and sensual space of my characters whose gender and orientation might be different from my own.
