I see a lot of great guitarists, many of them favourites of mine, being mentioned but not the late Jeff Healey. Healey was a Canadian blues-rock guitarist who lost his eyesight to cancer as a child (and his life to it eventually). His blindness led to a rather unique playing style, but there's not doubt he was one of the greats. And here he is in a TV appearance from 1987 with another favourite of mine who left the world way too soon, Stevie Ray Vaughan.
And one of his own pieces.
Healey was also a fan of early jazz who played trumpet and hosted a program of early jazz recordings on a Toronto all jazz radio station.

One more, this time his own band, The Jeff Healey Band. It's an early performance of a song that was one of his big hits, at least here in his own country, the ballad "Angel Eyes".
