1)Sugar Ray Leonard is a boxing legend. Just cuz you didn't like his commentary doesn't change that fact. Of course he's biased, he's a boxing great. Probably a little miffed at the audacity/disrespect of Mickey G' to even want to get in the boxing ring with Mayweather.

2)The guy in the bowtie stopped the fight "early" as you say is so Mickey G could save a little face. The powers that be were not about to let McGregor get hauled off on a stretcher. How would that look for MMA?

3)A 40 year old former boxing champion who hasn't fought in 2 years handily defeats The face of MMA. A 29 year old in the prime of his career MMA champion at that. Mayweather did surgery on Mickey G. What do you think would have happened if Mayweather was 29 and in his prime? Huh?

4) Even Brock Lesnar was a mma champion even though he couldn't cut it in the NFL or WWE. What does that tell you? Keep tellin yourself it's a legit sport.

Which is why those scorecards are troubling. People made bets on how many rounds Conner would win. Those terrible scorecards probably cost a lot of money.

Well, they did say on the local Las Vegas news that if McGregor had won it would have cost the sports books a fortune as so many bet on McGregor becasue his odds were so high.

1. I know who Sugar Ray is. Just because ancient boxing fans don't know who MMA fighters are.. doesn't mean that MMA fans don't know who Leonard is. The commentary was ridiculous and borderline embarrassing. If he didn't approve of the fight then he shouldn't have accepted the paycheck.

2. Have you ever seen an MMA fight? Conner wasn't going to get "hauled off on a stretcher." He didn't even get knocked down. He didn't even go to the hospital. He went to the press conference and promoted his new whiskey. He was tired, not concussed. The boxing community wanted the fight stopped because there was a chance that Conner had won 3-6 rounds. (before the bullshit scorecards became public). Did you see his fights with Nate Diaz? If he didn't get hauled off on a stretcher after those fights then I doubt Floyd's Dorito hands would do it.

3. Yeah... the best boxer on the planet lost rounds to a guy that was 0-0 in boxing. You take that as a win? This wasn't MMA vs boxing. It was a boxing match between an MMA fighter and an undefeated boxer. Do you think Floyd would have the balls to step into the octagon for an MMA fight? Even against the worst fighter in the UFC he wouldn't last a minute.

4. I don't know what Lesnar has to do with any of this let alone the WWE (which is garbage) or the NFL. Football is a different sport with a different skill set. No boxer or MMA fighter could step into the NFL and compete. Your comments indicate a complete lack of knowledge in sports in general. Mayweather isnt the best in boxing history , just fyi It was your pleasure

Say what you want about the fight. I wasn't a big proponent of it. But please explain to us all how MMA is not a "legit sport." Your type of antiquated thinking is why boxing is dying.

So go back to stealing material from Bob Arum and come back with something substantial. I know that you are new and I welcome you to the forums, but you might want to start with an easier matchup.
