Stupid%20people%20assume%20that%20a%20show%20about%20stand%20up%20comics%20should%20somehow%20be%20a%20comedy.%20%20%20If%20you%20browse%20IMDB%20reviews%20you%20will%20get%20a%20deluge%20of%20comments%20stating%20how%20"Unfunny"%20the%20show%20is.%20%20No%20shit.%20%20Guess%20what%20fuckheads...?%20%20This%20is%20not%20a%20comedy.%20%20Go%20turn%20on%20your%20TV%20and%20go%20rent%20the%20latest%20Adam%20Sandler%20movie%20and%20shut%20the%20fuck%20the%20fuck%20up.%20%20%20%20%20

This%20is%20a%20show%20that%20captures%20the%20essence%20of%20the%20LA%20comedy%20scene%20in%20the%201970s.%20%20In%20my%20opinion%20it%20isn't%20even%20dark%20enough.%20%20%20The%20majority%20of%20comics%20are%20neurotic,%20self%20doubting,%20borderline%20personality%20disordered%20people.%20%20%20Mental%20issues%20and%20substance%20abuse%20are%20par%20for%20the%20course.%20%20The%20show%20is%20produced%20by%20Jim%20Carrey%20and%20is%20based%20on%20his%20experiences%20in%20the%20LA%20comedy%20scene.%20%20Although%20the%20names%20are%20changed,%20its%20essentially%20the%20story%20of%20the%20Comedy%20Store,%20which%20was%20the%20launching%20ground%20for%20pretty%20much%20every%20comedian%20that%20you've%20ever%20heard%20about.%20%20

The%20lukewarm%20reception%20of%20the%20first%20three%20episodes%20indicates%20just%20how%20unready%20the%20general%20population%20is%20for%20what%20actually%20goes%20on%20behind%20the%20scenes.%20%20Much%20like%20the%20perfectly%20executed%20shows%20"Vinyl"%20and%20"Roadies,"%20IDUH%20captures%20the%20feeling%20and%20setting%20of%20the%20subject%20matter%20but%20will%20probably%20fail%20to%20capture%20the%20interest%20of%20armchair%20middle%20America.%20%20%20%20

Thus,%20another%20great%20TV%20show%20will%20whither%20and%20die%20on%20the%20vine%20as%20people%20change%20channels%20to%20watch%20the%20latest%20reality%20show%20or%20watch%20another%20sitcom%20with%20a%20fat%20husband%20sitting%20in%20a%20lazy-boy%20making%20fart%20jokes%20and%20complaining%20about%20his%20wife.%20%20%20

In%20conclusion...%20%20Watch%20this%20fucking%20show.%20%20%20Just%20don't%20expect%20a%20comedy.%20%20%20%20%20
