It's a long weekend here in Ontario (most of Canada in fact). We got out and hiked the valley near our home yesterday. It's a small "environmental sensitive area", which is sort of one step below a conservation area. Less maintained but therefore also more natural than a lot of the conservation areas. Lovely spot and much quieter than the big multiuse trails along the river that allow biking and blading, and where there's playgrounds and splashpads to attract families. No pics to show (actually, there's a couple on my phone but it is currently having it's version of lunch).
