These are some of my favorites(: I especially LOVE the one on the bottom [staircase]. I took it at a park in orange, TX.

First of all Thank you for sharing these beautiful pictures!!!

I know this is not the place but since all of you shoot such wonderful and amazing foto's I would like to ask which camera you use or recommend. I had a Minolta mirror reflex that got stolen and am looking for a new camera and thinking of taking a course as well. Thank You xxx!

The most important thing to know is, what is your budget? I used to be a mod on a photo forum, and this was the firs thing we asked people buying new cameras. I could tell you to buy a D700, but whats the point if its out of your price range. There are heaps of used cameras out there too. Nikon D200's and D300's are great cameras. BTW, I dont use Nikon, so no fanboy comments lol..Besides, its the lens that makes the difference most of the time.

depends on the mount, and even then you can sometimes get adapters with the contacts so you maintain your lense controls.

Processed this in Photomatix. Its HDR software. One of its uses is to produce this almost cartoon effect...This old church is not far from me like a haunted house on the top of a hill...I really should edit out the steel gate..

ive seen that done in so many photos and always enjoyed it what exactly is the program called?

The program is called Photomatix. Its primary use is to correct under or over exposed areas (dynamic range) of an image by taking multiple bracketed photos,, entering the exposure adjustments and the software does the rest, and when used correctly will produce an image closer to what our eyes can see. digital sensors have a very low dynamic range compared to our eyes, and its frustrating when you take a photo and it does not look like what we can actually see, there's the answer.

You can of course use it to produce drawing like images, but people abuse its use I find as not every photo lends itself to that particular treatment. It is a fun program though. You can try it for free, but the license is pretty cheap and it will remove the nasty water marks from the freeware version.

Have fun, I hope this helps..
