I've started watching it as well. I like the idea of an Annie Wilkes backstory. Not sure how that is going to go together with a Salem's Lot storyline. It's holding my interest, due in large part to Lizzy Caplan's performance.

Annie Wilkes backstory and a Salem's Lot storyline? I'm thinking that in a matchup between Annie and Kurt Barlow, the vampire might just get the short end of the stick ... er ... stake.

Not watching much in particular. Got various Youtube channels I keep up on and occasionally meditate on restarting my Netflix sub to see if I can interest myself in some of their newer stuff.
Some favorites on Netflix are:
Better Call Saul
Halt and Catch Fire
Shameless
The first is a somewhat crooked lawyer wanting to do right. Halt and Catch Fire is an intrigue look at the birth of the personal computer - a drama, not a documentary. And
Shameless is just so awful it is great!

Just posted a new story - "Pontiac Bonneville". Check it out at

Or my first story, 'Excuse Me, Mister' at

Must watch TV at the sprite house: watchmen and mr robot.

You can’t truly call yourself peaceful unless you are capable of violence. If you’re not capable of violence, you’re not peaceful. You’re harmless.

Watching men's tennis. Especially when the shirt is lifted up and I can see their abs.

Just started watching this new series. It does not disappoint.

From the commercials, it felt like a cross between Broadchurch and the first season of True Detective. Yup. Someone did their homework. Amazing back story. Everyone seems involved and everyone is a suspect, including a spooky wolf. Hopefully, the quality of the premiere episode carries through to the rest of the series.
I've been watching Prodigal Son and Evil

Prodigal Son has been good and I've enjoyed watching it, but I'm not sure about Evil. I've continued to watch it and there are a couple of characters that I like, I just don't know how I feel about it.

Has anyone else watched it? If yes, what are your feelings on it?

I have a new story out! Wish You Were Here A teasing sub may I have pushed too far, but the punishment is oh so sweet.

If you haven't already, please check out my story with leftlingula. A husband and wife rediscovered each other and It all started with one simple word...
Nightshade Part 1 & Nightshade: Part 2

The second season of The End of the Fucking World is really good.

I am about halfway through season two of Atypical, playing catch-up with LJ and my youngest, who are waiting impatiently to watch season three. I love Jennifer Jason Leigh.

I JUST watched the first few episodes of Schitt's Creek tonight. Pretty funny.
The second season of Castle Rock started out promising but it went off the rails for me after the fourth episode.

I'm eagerly waiting for HBO's adaption of Stephen King's novel "The Outsider" coming in January as a series.
Most of the shows I like ended one or several decades ago. Anything I might want to watch now is probably on some subscription site with nothing else interesting, and stream only. If I can't download it's not worth the hassle of an online transaction.

Evil is great and based on the personalities of the few people here I am familiar with I would think it should be very popular with just about everyone on lush.

I've been watching Evil and so far I'm enjoying it. The mix of serious subject matter and humor helps. Sometimes I watch just to see the household antics of the main characters kids.

It's interesting and a little different than all the other offerings from network television.

Yeah, we binged season one and enjoyed it. About to start season two.

We are also mourning the imminent demise of Friends on Netflix. sad Thinking of watching Community on Hulu to fill the void.

Watched The Aeronauts. It was interesting and kept my attention. These days that is all that I require.

It did get me thinking about the history of hot air balloons. Going to go and do a little research.

Looking forward to Season Two's premiere in a couple weeks. Interesting that they don't use Gillian Anderson's image on most of the promo. She's great in the show.

Just finished Dublin Murders. I've read they tried to meld two books into one series. It became convoluted and cumbersome. Still an intensely good series, but too many loose ends, which leads to a potential Season Two. I hope not. It can only stink given the backgrounds we know of each character. It'll turn into a soap opera if they go forward. No thanks.

Ray Donovan will be concluding it's current season in a couple weeks. The story has evolved and remained interesting, sometimes ridiculously unbelievable. However, it still has some room for more to be told. Sadly, the adding of Alan Alda as a therapist with Parkinson's Disease is plot convenient and shark jumping-ish. Same with the daughter-like-daddy theme that is developing. I do love all of the characters, but I do wonder if the showrunners will learn from this year's mistakes, or are they planning on wrapping things next year. I guess we'll see...

Really, REALLY looking forward to season two. Did not think it would happen. Adding John Malkovich can only be a wonderous thing.

I recently went back and read a few books about the Wars of the Roses.

So I re watched The White Queen, the White Princess and the Spanish Princess. They are mini series based off the Philipa Gregory books.

It's a complicated period in English History. Since the books are written by a woman, they focus the females which are often ignored in most historical contexts.

If you are intersted in following English history I suggesst:

The King (2019)
The White Queen mini series
The White Princess Mini series
The Spanish Princess mini series
The Tudors s1-s4 Even though Johnathan Rhys Myers looks more like an supermodal than a fat ginger, gouty egomainac.

Then since modern culture tends to ignore Mary, there are a lot of Elizabeth shows and movies.... ugh. I find her overrated and unappealing.

And Hollywood has not yet to find a way to do the English civil war or any of the Stuarts. The did some fluffy Restoration movie and the Libertine with Johnny Depp.... The English civil was is a missed opportunity though.
Been watching WentWorth, Aussie womens prison thing, I guess comparable to Orange is the new Black type series.. Couple seasons into it, Not bad IMO,
kinda sucks you in where you want to see what happens.

Hulu

Stumbled upon this last night - hmmm wonder who would have such an addiction and where would they ever go if they needed a fix.....
Dispatches from Elsewhere. super awesome.

A Million Little Things (On Demand)
I just watched Outer Banks.

Quite good. It takes place on the outer banks of North Carolina even though it was filmed in Charleston, SC. The atmospheric quality is great. The characters are supposed to be 16 years old even though they all look like they are 25.

Critics have compared it to the Goonies, but I didn't get that vibe. It is a decent watch though. I gave it a 7/10. And if you are female, the main character is quite good looking.
