The Highwaymen on Netflix - Kevin Costner & Woody Harrelson.

I had zero expectations other than I still have a melancholy feel about the Bonnie & Clyde movie with Faye Dunaway and Warren Beatty. The Highwaymen takes a different approach and I thought it was really well done. I also thought this is why Kevin Costner is good at what he does. Woody kinda sorta played the same Woody he does in so many movies, but Kevin was excellent. Even though the focus was less on B & C, their demise was still sad. And it shouldn't have been. They were murderous and unrelenting. One is still left with the question: Why?

Up Next: Us

I hope to see it this weekend.

Also, I really, really don't want to see it, but a friend said that I would enjoy Shazam. I loved Zachary Levi's character in the TV series, Chuck. So... I guess... I'll take the kids.
Sgt Stubby: An American Hero which sounds like it should be porn but is actually a fabulous animated 1st world war film about the most decorated dog in US military history. Highly recommended. It's up there with Spiderman: Into The Spiderverse and Alita: Battle Angel which were also fantastic. Must be something about films with colons in their titles.

Colons???

Eww.
The Favourite

I have mixed feelings on it. I enjoyed certain parts, others I did not. Seeing Emma Stones boob made me smile though.
Re-watched Schindler's List on Saturday night with the boyfriend. Brilliant film. Not always easy to watch, especially as bf is Jewish, but a brilliant film nonetheless.
Bohemian Rhapsody. Queen has always had a special place in my heart. biggrin
Mullholland Drive

I saw this too. I was really disappointed. Not well written. Poorly acted due to the directing. The only guy I don't like is Ben.

The guys from Tron Legacy, Narcos, Son's of Anarchy, Oscar from many, and then dumb old Ben.

I thought this was a pretty good movie. A lot of action. Definitely a set-up for the arrival of Avenger's Endgame coming out later this month.

I need to schedule a time to see this.

My story in the Notorious competition, Abbey on Top has been described as "fun and arousing", "witty and erotic", and "sexy and hot". ?
Go see for yourself. ?

Watched this tonite. Was fun to see some familiar actors that were VERY young in this film. I love the dark humor of this film.

This is one of my favorite movies, I never tire of watching it.

Check out Kiteares A-Z of kinks and fetishes in micros. The first is of course A Actirasty (if you read it you won't have to google it!)

Just watched it. Pretty good. I'll start a spoiler thread soon.

If you haven't seen the previous movies.... please don't go to public theater and continuously ask questions...

And there are no after scenes credits.

Just watched this. I must admit I had no idea who "Paige" was. After I watched this move though, I definitely watched her sex tapes.

This movie is surprisingly good.

Florence Pugh is way hotter than the actual Paige though.

Even though she probably should have picked a better screen name.

Lena Headey is in this and she is probably the funniest character in the movie. I loved hearing her actual Yorkshire accent..

This is the new movie about Ted Bundy. It got a lot critical criticism for making Bundy seem too "charasmatic,"

The title is terrible. But it was one of the lines that the judge used when sentencing him.

As a true crime fan I am aware of of the Bundy story. There is actually a pretty good doc on netflix

I thought with movie was ok. If you are completely knowledgeably with the Bundy case, then you might enjoy it. But they bounced around lot. They tried to focus on the girlfriend, but I didn't get the emotional connection. And I didn't get the essence of Bundy from Efron.

I know a lot of people were upset that they "glorified" Bundy. They just kind of presented the facts. They tried to make it from the girlfriend's perspective, but I feel that they didn't do enough to grow her character.

If you are familiar with the bundy story then the show will be more entertaining. Netflix actually had a really good Bundy Documentary earlier this year.

If you have any interest in this subject, then watch the doc first.
John Wick 3.

Fucking insanely over the top, but fun nonetheless. Quite how the BBFC (the same organisation trying to "protect" UK citizens from porn) gave it a 15 rating, is beyond me. A metric tonne of gruesome death scenes from hands, guns, knives, books, horses, bikes, you name it. World's gone mad.

We should send John Wick after the BBFC. He'll make them see reason

Bad Times at the El Royale

It started with promise. I really wanted to like this Tarrentino-wannabe pic. But after that intriguing start, it trailed off. Almost two and a half hours. I fast forwarded through the last half. I don’t think I missed much.

Mission Impossible: Fallout

Same review as above, but with car chases.

Rim Of The World

Disappointed in this Netflix flick but not for the reason I would have thought. It had 13 year olds graphically speaking about sex, including giving an alien a blow job. There was even a scene where the boys thought one of them was going to have sex with a ‘willing’ 13-year-old girl. I’m not saying it doesn’t happen, but when a movie targets kids, that stuff shouldn’t be in it the way it was.
