Captain Marvel is a chick.

You can’t truly call yourself peaceful unless you are capable of violence. If you’re not capable of violence, you’re not peaceful. You’re harmless.

Captain Marvel !!!
Casino Royale (1968)

Stan & Ollie, what a sad biopic very well acted

Not a big Bella Thorne fan but I gotta admit this was a really good movie

Watched this the other weekend and I would recommend it!! I actually enjoyed it a lot smile

Yup. Gotta agree with Verbs. This just could be the best Marvel movie. Original. Entertaining. The kids loved it. Great story. Lovely cameo with Mr. Lee. All good stuff.

For me, Ironman might still be number one with Deadpool 2 a close second, but this one is somewhere with those two. I can only imagine what the experience might have been like watching this movie in 3D, on the big screen, and stoned. Lord have mercy.
The Zookeeper's Wife

Captain Marvel - Entertaining Movie.

Did a marathon watching with my son of Deadpool & Deadpool 2.

Then, for balance, ET. The Deadpools win.
Mary Poppins Returns. Sigh. I love Emily Blunt and loved seeing Dick Van , at 94, do some soft shoe on a desk, but damn. $130M budget and they couldn't produce better, more memorable songs? They even tried to capture lightening in a bottle again by recreating scenes but substituting the characters, song, & dance. For example, chimney sweeps vs lamp lighters. Big fail.

Sad, but a hard pass on this one. We all really, really wanted to like it.

Jane Eyre. Yes, that one and the same. 1943. Orson Welles. I surprising liked it. The characters, Jane Eyre and Anne Shirley from Anne of Green Gables fame are very similar. Hate seeing the crap both girls - teens - young ladies had to endure. Sadly, shit like that really happened, and to some degree still does. However, I don't think I could handle the book. It would frustrate me that people could be that cruel to one another, especially to girls and young women. Watching the movie, the reading a book plot summary online, was enough.

Next Up: Ocean 8 with Sandra Bullock and Netflix's, The Highwaymen with Kevin Costner and Woody Harrelson. A different spin on the Bonnie & Clyde story.

Oo, a blast from the past. What did you think? I liked it a lot of it in general but it definitely got weird and cringe-worthy towards the end.

Creed II

As you know, I really liked these movies. I think they made a great choice with Michael B. Jordan.

I'm pretty sure it was Mirage on Netflix. It was pretty good and had a few great twists.

Seeker beat me to this.

YES. I was a huge Police fan in the day. Creepy movie. Loved this song. However, there is a version from a live Paris concert, with Omar on the drums - one of the best drum solo's EVER!!!
A Star is Born ..... Awesome movie

I don't even know where to start. But without spoiling it, it was very good. Some crazy twisted storyline. You really have to pay attention. And then the ending... WTF? I left the theatre feeling like I went down the rabbit hole

I've heard several people say something similar. So now I want to see it even more!
