I love Boston... but... I have to admit that it's full of dumb, racist assholes. It just is... It reminds me of my hometown, although they don't pronounce "r"s for some reason.

Sadly, Boston is one of the US cities that remains on my "to do" list. Came close once en route to Rhode Island, but never been there.

Movie-wise, I'd say my favorite movie set in Boston is The Departed. Brilliant movie all round.
